In Chrome, I looked at Inspect Element > Console, and I'm seeing this error: "Can't Load URL: The domain of this URL isn't included in the app's domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settings."

Maybe that means something to you, based on your site setup. Otherwise, tell your host that or do a search, and maybe it'll help you resolve.

Again, thank you so much for checking into this so thoroughly!
I looked into this message and it was coming from coding relating to a Facebook Like button. I removed the coding from a couple of pages and it made no difference. Still no feed for me.

I like GKG.net for service and Hostgator for pricing/features. GD is only good for buying domain names.

Referrals could be someone clicking on, say, the 20th, then going back and purchasing on the 26th and 27th, but let's say it started at the same time, because that's the most likely scenario.

Your host may be the problem, but maybe not because of something "just" changed. Regardless, like most hosts, sounds like you're going to have to figure it out yourself and then, if it requires their intervention, tell them what's not working.

Today I installed a test server on my computer (Zend Server)and copied over the "include" folder and one webpage that calls the feed. As suspected, it worked. It wasn't pretty because I didn't bring over all the css files, but the correct products were pulling through from the feed. To me, that means nothing is wrong with my coding or the feed - it is my web host.

Maybe. If you installed on a test server with nothing else present, it means that 'some code' on the server is causing the conflict with the https feed. If your test server included EVERYTHING on your live site except CSS file(s), then a CSS file (very unlikely!) is the problem or your host or a combination of host and site code.

Let's go with "there was nothing else" on your test server. In your situation, I'd:

- Break the Internet searching for possible causes and try every single one of them on my live site.

- Search every remotely possible file for more instances of http on my live site and change them, one at a time to, https.

- Use a test server to bring over code one piece at a time until the feed breaks.

Probably in that order. Many would start at the bottom of that list, but I seem to like breaking the Internet and/or my head against a wall.

I don't know enough about what's going on or the situation to be able to say much more than that and am not so well versed in every possible site set up that I can guess.

You're welcome. Smile I wish I had the answer for you.

In the zstore.php file there's a section for building the feed URL. In mine it's line 198, but I've customized it a bit so the default might be different. Just search for "$dataURLBase" and change the "http" to "https" ("https://feed."). At least it worked for me ..

OMG!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I have spent almost two days, trying to figure out what was going on. You saved my site. *hugs*

@The Gift MD - Are you trying to pull Charm Bracelets by Department on broken pages?

I have one site with a page that breaks when I try to pull them and another is pulling them just fine. So it may be some product in particular that's breaking your entire feed. Now why it would break on one site and not another is beyond me - pulling the raw feed works.

Further to ^that post about the Bracelets, both sites are running WP using zStore Manager Basic plugin which uses the Store Manager code. One had Show Pagination and Show Sorting turned on (throwing RSS Feed error) and the other had both turned off (pulling RSS Feed fine). I didn't actually want them on, so I turned them off the site with the problem is now pulling the Bracelets feed.

I know you're not using WP or the plugin @The Gift MD, but it illustrates that it can something seemingly innocuous and unrelated throwing off just one piece, and the whole thing goes to [word that's going to be blocked by forum].

Do let us know if you make progress and what your fix is.

Well that was short lived. Bracelets are breaking the feed again.

It sure would be nice if Zazzle popped in and gave us some guidance...

They did acknowledge that they're working on the rss feed mechanism in a reply to my issue about search terms not working with department ids.
I'm guessing that what you're seeing is related to them working on it.

Let's hope it's an indication it'll soon be fixed!

Thanks, HightonRidley. I saw that. I'm not confident those two issues are related, but appreciate your mentioning it.

Today's fix: Change sort to Created instead of Popularity. Strange, but true. Bracelets haven't broken the page in a few hours now.

Thanks PencilPlus! I'm just starting to look at this - it looks awesome.

Does this tool work with our Zazzle collections?

I finally fixed mine, but it was by completely rewriting the zstore.php script. Youch. On the other hand, theirs was 600 lines of code (not including the additional includes for RSS and caching), and mine is about 50 lines total, plus a little code for formatting the products into more attractive tiles than they give us by default. I also have my own library builder (replacing their "cache" thingy, which is fairly primitive really), so sometimes the system doesn't even have to go to the feed.

Anyway, it's a combination of factors. Any of which might fix your current situation (if any are still having the problem of "feed temporarily down"). Change your baseURL from "http:..." to "https:...", watch the capitalization on your reference id, I also had to remove a couple of the URL parameters being passed in, as they were messing up the query search now (that wasn't happening before this recent "crash" of the zazzle feed). No one of these by itself was fixing it for me; that's when I rewrote it in a far simpler way, and hey presto, it's working.

Hi all -- thanks for all the tips.

I was having same feed problems, but changed my http references to https in the zstore.php file -- that made the feed start working again, BUT... it's no longer recognizing my keyword command. So, I'm getting products, but all products in the product type.

Without the keyword, the feed doesn't make much sense on my site.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

What I ended up doing is adding the $keyword syntax after the $productType syntax

Example: href="Birthday.php?gridPage1_1&productType=252095125266653584&keywords=birthday+mens+tshirts"

I have text links for categories in my ZSB page so the above example would pull mens tees with a birthday theme. Not perfect but better than nothing.

See the ZSB site at FNolan's Top Zazzle Gifts

Did you make pagination as well?
Do you save into your DB all requested products or only some?

Well, in the last day, I signed up with a FREE web host and uploaded one of my websites that uses ZSB. And it WORKED. It isn't my coding or the feed! What a surprise!
I just spent the last 5 hours in the support chat with Brinkster (my web host), mostly waiting around while they were probably just ignoring me. This is the 5th time I've gone to them to figure out why I can't pull the https feed into my websites. After 5 hours, the response I got from them is that I either have to move to a dedicated server, ie spend more money, or go to another web host. Angry
Guess what. I'm movin' on!!

What a complete pain in the butt this has been!
I'm just glad that it's February and not November or December when things would be busier.

Thank you so much for all this great advice! I was finally able to get my sites www.customgiftware.com and www.sullivaninteriors.net back up and running! Roses Roses

So I just found out from Hostmonster that it is going to cost me a fortune to upgrade to an account with dedicated IP and SSL in order to make my websites work with the https. Does anyone have a better hosting company they can suggest that may not charge so much to allow me to get my sites working again? I have had the feeds not working since they made the switch to https and would like to get back in the game.

Thanks in advance!
