Do you want to combine multiple Zazzle feeds into just one?

Is anyone interested in a new Nifty tool that allows you to combine mutiple feed pulls from Zazzle and interleave the results into just one rss feed?

The version I'm working on allows up to 3 feeds to be combined into one but could be increased if needed.

So far, I've just built the bare bones but plan to give it it's own section in the Nifty Promo Control Panel.

The link below gives you the results of combining:
➡️ feed 1: pull 5 from the marketplace with a search term of christmas
➡️ feed 2: pull 10 from my store, also with a search term of christmas
➡️ feed 3: pull 15 from the marketplace with a search term of christmas and a department id for Gift Wrapping Supplies

Here's the link
(you need to use Firefox to see the results - no images will display, though)

You'll see that the results take the first item from feed1, then the first from feed 2, then feed 3 and then the second item from feed1, then the second from feed 2 etc. etc.

Once I've got it integrated into the Nifty Promo Control Panel, I'll work on a version that can be used with the nIFTTTy scheduler.

Please reply with a thumbs up if this is something you'd like to see included in the Nifty toolbox.
(Here's one you can copy, if you like: 👍 )

Over to you...

If you look closer you'll see that each feed's url is there: see the parameters fdspc1, fdspc2 and fdspc3. The feed url is encoded - you have to do that when using one as a parameter. A good encoder/decoder is here: http://www.url-encode-decode.com/

I've got a near-complete version.

Here's the link: http://niftytoolz.com/npcp/nifty-promo-control-panel.html?mcslsh=spradv
It'll open and scroll down to the multifeed section to make it easier to have a look.

In principle, you use it as normal to get the products you want, then click a button to "bake it" into the multifeed section.
Repeat for the next and, if you like, once again for the third.

You'll see the product grid update when you click the "activate multifeed" button. The multifeed gubbins works on all the Nifty Promo Control Panel tools EXCEPT the nIFTTTy Share Scheduler, the individual product sharers, the live Catalog Print and the widgets.

The speed at which it gets results seems fine, although if you use filters and a lot gets filtered out, delays might be noticable. Would love your feedback.
You can get lots from one feed and a few from the other two, if you like. Just change the page size when you're working on your feed settings in Step1
Btw, the maximums for multifeeds are: total items you can get is 240 and no single feed can get more than 240.
Put one or more collections in the mix, if you like.

The Live Product Catalog now works with the multifeed.
