The indexer is a bit behind at the moment. Everything seems to be functioning normally apart from that. I will check up on the examples listed in this thread again tomorrow morning.

Collections I updated almost a week ago are all showing empty in the public view.

Another collections don't show new products when I'm not logged in:

Tomorrow will be the same problem with products from today etc.
Could you do something with it?

Approximately how long are collections taking to update?

I only have one Zazzle store and not many products or collections. Online, collections are actually one of the ways I not only organize, but market the printed products. So it doesn't affect my real business, but may affect Zazzle if customers or potential Zazzle customers are seeing empty collections.

For any mod...

Just how are collections indexed? Is it a manual process that involves a human being? Is it a computer process that must take place in the dead of night? On what criteria is the indexing based? The collection tags? Something else?

When collections were first introduced it seems there was really no more time lag involved than publishing a product. There were certainly no lengthy dead times just because a product got new tags or a description got edited or a new product was added or an old one deleted. What's changed? And, why should designers bother with collections anymore when it makes considerable portions of our inventories unavailable for viewing and promotion for long stretches of time?

The collections I updated so far (about a week ago) are now visible. However one I did NOT update is showing updated February 4 and invisible to the public. So it looks like Zazzle may have been tinkering with the collections ?? I say that because the link in the collections are now showing my Z store. So that part is a good thing.

But why is one collection I didn't update showing updated February 4? I am a professional and business owner, so knowing what is happening helps me organize, manage time productively, update logically, finish what was started etc. instead of having doubts about Zazzle's transparency or Zazzle's security etc.

I hope Zazzle understands the points I am trying to make.

ETA: The other thing I don't understand about collections is why the year is never a part of the date (and yes its relevant and important).

As I sad - I have next collections to fix. They don't show new products when I'm not logged in:

https://www.zazzle.com/collections/napkins-119022399990238362

Maybe someone should every day use my shop as a testing area, because I'm 100% sure that tomorrow I'll have the same issues Stick out tongue

We were told that indexing is running slow right now.

All of the collections posted in this discussion are appearing as expected.

I'm still tracking this particular issue. I'll be posting any updates that I have here: https://forum.zazzle.com/technical/collection_indexing_is_a_bit_behind
