Tiling tool still needs some tweaking.

I did some tiling yesterday and found that my GREAT image was not able to be adjusted.

On the Yoga Mat, the design is OK (could be centered more)

On the Flip Flops, I wanted to "mirror" the image so the pale vertical line would be under the big toe, like on the left shoe. However any adjustment of the image that is tiled, makes the tile show gaps between the multiple images.

I tried starting with no tile and moving the image to various locations then tiling, but the original image seems to jump to some point in the product that is NOT the center.

I use Centered in the Tiling dropdown and have no issues. It works just as tiling did in the old tool. Much easier to size/move/position. I rarely use the other options due to what you described.

It looks like you're using the "Mirror" style of tiling, and that one is the most difficult to use. I'd take that image of yours and open it four times in a graphics editor and do the "Mirror" style of tiling manually, and then save that image. You should now have an image that can be tiled using the "Centered" style which will allow you to click-and-drag the image in small/precise amounts so that you can get the product that you're looking for.

We are aware that the usability of some pattern styles isn't the best. This is something that we may tackle a bit later on once current projects wrap up.

Sometimes on the mirror tiling you can adjust the size of the tile using the height and width boxes and get it to where you want it to be but this isn’t very precise and you have to make sure the two boxes are locked together to avoid the gaps.

I'd love to be able to use the other styles, so that would be cool if y'all did.
