I had the same problem but there is a workaround that is working for me. I use the Chrome Pinterest Save Button extension. After install choose one of your products to pin. Then click on the P icon on chrome menu bar at top and the images from your product should come up. Choose one to save and the pinterest window will pop with the edit pencil icon. Your title for the product should be there as well. Hope that helps!

This also works with any Pinterest extension on your web browser. Just don't use the internal Z share button.

I only have the one since I mostly use chrome but that is good to know, thanks!

So this is the response I received from Pinterest.

Hi there,

I'm xxxxx, a User Support Specialist, and I've reviewed the situation.

Thanks for writing in. We’re always trying out new things behind the scenes at Pinterest and it sounds like you’re experiencing a change to how titles and descriptions work.

To assure a specific title, description and URL is connected to a pin, you'll need to create an organic pin manually using pin builder. This means creating a Pin directly on Pinterest.

It’s not possible to go back to the old layout, but we appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to the right team.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

xxxxx

If your not currently experiencing difficulty using Zazzle's Pinterest share buttons you will. What a shame.

--Note. I inserted the xxxx's above.

Cheers

What a shame! On a positive note, at least you got a reply. Grin

So, it's worth to note that the pin builder is currently broken and will strip out descriptions. They've been working on a fix for that since early November. -- Depending on who responds will depend on the answer you get. (Probably true for this question as well.)

I don't think Pinterest staff know what's going on either. I got this response

"Hi there,

Kindly note that you will be able to modify the title and description of the pins that are saved from your claimed website. In this case, the website zazzle.com is claimed by the account https://www.pinterest.com/zazzle/ and hence you will not be able to change the title and description."

Looks to me the person answering your question thought you were asking to change Zazzle's own pins they add to their own boards.
