Newest Collections Not Showing in Public View 6 pages: [1] 2 3 4 5 6

My most recent collections are not showing to the public. They show in my back end, but when I post a link, people cannot see them. I have a friend who's having the same issue. I checked my public view and they're not showing. Here are the links to the two collections that I'm having trouble with.

Those work for me when I click on them. Let me know if they work for you guys.

Hi Karen!

I can't see them when I click on them. I'm getting "sorry, there are no results."

Same here. Thanks to the OP, I've found I also have a new collection that shows no products when I'm signed out.

ugh

I've been promoting this collection all over the place.

Thanks, guys. I've been promoting mine, too, but it's useless if people can't see them. Crying

Same here and its really irritating.. A lady told me awhile back that one of my other collections was not showing because I either did not havea header photo or there were less than 6 items in the collection.. Well that is not the case with my Christmas collection that another friend of mine says was not posting on her end and when I clicked on one of her collections I am getting that message of "sorry no results." So what gives? I thought it was a Facebook glitch, but it happened on another forum so it must be a Zazzle glitch???Shocked

I wonder if it is an indexing issue, the servers being slow to update again? You said these are your "newest" collections.

I worked on some of my collections yesterday afternoon, and they immediately vanished from public view, which is 'normal' behaviour. However, over 24 hours later they still haven't reappeared, which is irritating to say the least. (It leaves holes in my website which depends on pulling from collections.)

I'm seeing two problems:

- Adding anything to Collections makes them show the "Sorry, there are no results" per this thread (the Collection can be seen, there's just nothing in it to public view). Since July 29, that I'm aware.

- New Collections are visible, but empty. Since August 2, that I'm aware.

I have way too many to compare and detail all of them, but I can pinpoint both issues to at least those dates. May be a longer that there's been problems. I sent some examples to Pro Support. Finbarr said he passed it on to tech.

Yes, it's certainly causing major havoc with promotions.

Vanishing hasn't been typical behavior for me except for the last couple of weeks. The Collection might not update right away and I may have a 1-2 minute time frame where the RSS doesn't pull, but this "Sorry, there are no results" is new for me. I know 24 hours is the public commentary, but I don't think I've ever seen one of my Collections take more than 15 minutes to update. My sites also pull using Collections RSS Feeds because they were the one thing that wasn't breaking last year.

Right now I'm afraid to touch any of them. This is critical to promotions. Trying to be patient. That's running out. lol

Definitely a glitch on Zazzle's end. And your collections will show if you don't have a header banner. I still have collections that I don't have banners for, and they show just fine. This latest glitch is frustrating!

All I know is that I haven't had any problems till the past several of days. Maybe it's just taking much longer than usual for the collections to be made public.

I agree, I am trying hard to be patient.

I have inadvertently wrecked a few of my website pages by making updates to collections which means they have now 'vanished'. I wouldn't have touched them had I known that it was going to take an indeterminate amount of time to update.

I created a few new products today, so apart from putting them in their own new collection I have avoided adding them to any existing collections. It will take days for the new products to show in the market place anyway, so why 'kill' my existing collections and promotional efforts for products that aren't fully visible.

I'm experiencing the same missing collections issue. It also affects existing collections that have had new products added. Also, I have not received an email giving notice to any new products being posted since Friday afternoon.

I have the same problem, too. I created a new collection on Aug 4, 2018, but it still doesn't appear in my public store.

They will show up, just a bit delayed, not a 'glitch'.

I'm having the same problem. I created a new collection with fall designed products early last week and it's still not showing up almost a week later. I've created several more throughout the week just to test and none have shown up. One of the collections I put only items that I created months ago, just to be sure it wasn't a 'new items' problem, and that hasn't shown up either. To top it off, I added some of my autumn design mugs to a drinkware collection that I had that had been displaying fine and now that has disappeared.

I emailed Z help and have been back and forth with them several times and they have been no help at all. They kept saying it was because the items are still under review. But all of the items have been posted for sale and show up in my product list. Some of the items, some gift bags and wrapping paper, I added to another collection and, thankfully, that collection still displays ok.

What KPCaptures said, more or less, except I don't have any autummn mugs. ;)

Are you speaking only to the post immediately above yours? Or to the problem as a whole?

I have a Collection I created 3 days ago now that isn't showing up, and Collections I updated as far back as July 29 that are showing "Sorry, there are no results" - 3 days to a week+ seems excessive and like a glitch. Plus, updating Collections doesn't normally make the Collection appear to be completely empty. That's not a glitch?

We're aware that things aren't right, but "not right" doesn't always mean glitch.

We're working on a fairly extensive project at this time, and that may well be the cause of the wonky indexing that we've been experiencing recently. This new project also requires some attention from indexers, and so that's likely the cause of the inconsistent behavior. The collections shouldn't be disappearing, but we are monitoring the situation and hope to have it back to normal very soon.

I wanted to give an update: The collection that started my whole issue, Shades of Autumn, showed up tonight (almost a week later) as did several of the 'test' collections I had created. What didn't show up was my older Drinkware collection that had previously been showing up fine in my public storefront but disappeared after I added some of my newer mugs.

So, I took one of my 'test' collections that showed in my public storefront tonight, added all my mugs to the collection and now the collection isn't showing up again in my public storefront. We'll see how long it takes it to show up, if it shows up, in my public storeroom.

I just went to share another persons collection and it came up with the no results message again so apparently this has not been fixed. Totally bummed and totally frustrated. Been trying to promote a special collection and the collection turned out to be one of those that was not showing...been doing it for about a week with no results showing with me not even aware that this was happening..not knowing it was going on until another Zazzler said my one or two collections were not showing, but others of my collection was.. Then I checked a few of hers. Some showed others did not.. again today I wanted to share another Zazzlers collection but when I went to do so, her page came up not showing. Then I learn from someone else they say its not a glitch in their words said it was just an inconvenience. Wow, some inconvenience... I lost timing in my promotion of my set, I could not share hers, could not share anothers and it put designing behind in my schedule of what I was trying to accomplish. And people wanting to share with me could not because of this a-hem... little inconvenience. Today Zazzle sent an email saying greeting cards were on sale, so of course I wanted in on that promotion.. well just my luck that collection was on the no results end and could not do it so I lost yet another chance to promote my collection, and in the last week or so not knowing of this problem prolly lost many chances at sales because of this a-hem so called little inconvenience as my collection as were others were not showing. Can I ask, if it was convenient enough for Zazzle to have the "no results showing message" pop up on the page this was happening to, why then did they not warn us of this little so called inconvenience in an email as soon as this error message was going on. So many of us were trying to figure out if it was a social media glitch problem or a Zazzle problem or what. And now my question is is how long did Zazzle know of the problem, at that point we all should have been notified so we could deal with it and so now you tell us this is the result of a big project that posed a LITTlE inconvenience. OUCH! And leads me to another question if Zazzle knew this was happening, why has not anyone been told about it including up to now. A simple email to us all saying hey folks, the site is having some issues at the moment.. etc etc would have gone a long way for us to deal with the big inconveniences this caused. NOW WHAT? How do we try to recover?

Any time you add anything to a collection it has to be indexed again.

Big inconvenience, and it would have been nice if Zazzle had told us what was going on and that we might be experiencing some issues.

I was about to post that I too did not receive an email telling me of my recent new items hitting the market place, but right after I posted here about the collections not showing, an email showed up showing some of my new items, but not all. I am hoping that this matter of the no results and collections does get resolved quickly. I too have a website. Thankfully I had not updated that in a while and so I hopefully do not have the issues a previous person had mentioned she was having with hers. But all this has put me way behind as I mentioned earlier.

Posted: Monday, August 6, 2018 9:02:13 PM
Oh, updating or refreshing the page makes no difference the collections still show no results. At least that was the case earlier.
Posted: Monday, August 6, 2018 9:12:08 PM
Ok, another issue, you guys with more than one store, how is this issue hitting you there?

A week is a little long to expect anyone to wait for a new collection to show up not to mention an already existing collection that had been displaying but disappears just because you add one new item to it.

Also, I just reorganized by collections - just to change the order they were appearing. I have 17 collections, 14 had been displaying, 1 disappeared after I reorganized the items within it so I was down to 13. After reordering the collections I now only have 7 displaying in my public storefront. That's SEVEN out of 17. It dropped from 13 to 7 just because I changed the order that they appeared!

Update on what I am seeing today, first off last night I got one of my emails stating some of my products were cleared to the market place. Still waiting on a bunch yet that I have not received yet. I can understand any delay in those because of the volume that Zazzle has to screen. No issues there and are patiently waiting the rest of them. I really do not think this was a related issue to linking of the disappeared collections!

Second. The one collection I wanted to share, I was able to share it on my pinterest. However, have not had a chance to investigate the linkage from pinterest back to Zazzle. Maybe I will know more this afternoon. I have a few other collections that I have not checked that I was having issues and people were having issues back with me so maybe this afternnoon I will know more.

Third, I continue to be behind on projects due to the disappeared collections issue and I have not even begun to check my website.

4th, I have not had a chance to promote anything new nor have I had design time because of the issue of the disappeared collections.

Hopefully this milady is clearing up time will tell.

Im not too happy with the delays this has caused in my promotions and promoting stuff that no one saw. Dont like the idea that when I promoted the collection I had promoted it stating the number of products was over 100 in it and to have the "no results" show. Makes me look bad and then to have a client say what collection there is nothing there and me not knowing of this entire mess going on, well, lets just say the potential client was lost. Not happy in the campground there.

I have had to punt before when technical issues have come up but not being able to say to a potential client how long the matter is going to take and not knowing..it was going on when we could have been informed... like the one gal said, a week is a bit long to deal with it.

So, now that most of us all are aware of the problem, does anyone have a clue just how long it will be before it is fully fixed?

Parsing words. Whatever label it's given, Collections aren't working as we've come to expect based on how they've worked since being launched with updates/changes along the way.
Scott wrote:

In my dictionary, disappearing Collections is a "glitch," but (and since we are parsing words), my Collections aren't disappearing, as far as I know. I have 500+ and am unsure how many are private, so I can't just compare the public vs. private number and say yes/no they are/aren't "not visible" in public view (which is different than actually disappearing, of course - they all seem to be there when I log in). About 40-something don't appear when I'm logged out; maybe that's how many I have that are set to Private.

What's happening – and I can't speak for everyone, so this is for me - is that adding or deleting products sometimes makes them show "Sorry, there are no results." instead of the products in the Collection.

- The link to the Collection works; Collection is not 'disappeared.'
- Logged out users will see the banner image, the description, and user profile info of the user who created the Collection.
- User will see error message "no results" instead of products.

Some of mine showed products again today. Adding or deleting products sends them back to "No Results" Purgatory.

Karen Nesbitt wrote:

A quick look at my earnings history would illustrate that I didn't miss out on thousands in earnings because of the problem, in all likelihood, but I did lose momentum, opportunities, and credibility.

Per Scott's post "back to normal very soon" - same question as KBE - when is "very soon"? Also is "normal" what we've come to expect or is this "no results" going to appear while indexing is taking place?
