A white dove being released from her spiralling situation, where life has become like ever-decreasing circles, into the blue sky of an unwritten world where she can be free to choose again.

She represents the release from all that holds us back from our true selves, and brings us closer to the purity and peace of the uninfluenced spirit.

She is the Energy of Life, moving while collected as a human, before again becoming the potential returned to the cosmos, to take other shapes within other shapes and other shapes, again and again. The atoms before the human will be the atoms after the human.

Perfect for a friend longing for a treasured memory, a lover’s home far away, or to remind you of a wonderful vacation.

An iconic, old-fashioned British red telephone box, connecting the remote parts of the Highlands of Scotland. A scene from the banks of Loch Morar, a moment in 1990 now lost to history, but captured here forever.

The Crystal Palace area was named after the magnificent glass structure which housed the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London’s Hyde Park, and was dismantled and moved to the highest point of London. An Upper Terrace and a Lower Terrace with flights of granite steps linked the Crystal Palace to the park.

Six sphinxes, arranged in pairs are among the few remnants of the Great Exhibition which burned-down in a fire on the night of 30 November 1936.

This is one of those remaining majestic Victorian sphinxes, looking out over the Kent countryside from the top of Crystal Palace Park. Angles and shadows captured in black and white.

In the darkness of a cold midnight in the old Soviet Union, a Russian Cossack is momentarily illuminated by the brief warmth of his lighter as he holds his cigarette in his gloved-hand.

A fleeting moment captured here in white pencil on black paper.

The 1920-30s were stylish times. This mysterious detective waits in the shadows, contemplating his next move and the gangster he’s hunting, considering the evening’s speakeasy as the smoke from his cigarette rises and curls into the air.

The spirit of the time is captured in this illustration.

This Golden Eagle was illustrated after a truly golden afternoon in Oban, along Scotland's stunning and magical west coast. It was late Autumn and the golden sun was reflecting off the golden hills, and at times the sky seemed full of Golden Eagles. All these years later that moment replays on the my inner screen with clarity and the feeling comes back straight away.

There is a beauty in her danger, but it’s a beauty itself in danger too.

She is at one with nature, emerging from the shadows for a moment, a flash of beauty in something so dangerous, caught by the sunlight before merging back into the environment which created her. But it is a beauty which itself is in danger of disappearing forever.

She is the Energy of Life, moving while collected as a tiger, before again becoming the potential returned to the cosmos, to take other shapes within other shapes and other shapes, again and again. The atoms before the tiger will be the atoms after the tiger.

This illustration was created to show that Life is the finger in the glove, the wave which forms the surface.
