Looking at the age of that topic I am very pessimistic with regard to a solution. I am only some weeks away of publishing a web site that absolutely needs a solution here...

Hi,

I asked that question 2 years ago ...

I want to provide preview images of my template products on my home page, depending on an image the user can select. This image is stored on my server. So, its an easy task to generate a link to be forwarded to the product in the shop containing that server image. But how can I just provide a preview image of the product like in the zazzle twittermosaic example ...

I would like to have the possibility to include product images on my home page and let the user play with selecting different images and having a preview on the product with these images without having to leave my web site.

There is a nice example on the API documentaion site with texts and this works fine on my page also. But replacing images seems to be a problem as the zazzle picture link does not accept http-links to external images even if I define my domains on the zazzle page.

For the linkover to the zazzle shop, it works ... But I dont want to let my users jump to the shop, going back, jump t the shop, going back ...

And as I want to provide a very specific view on my products, not supported by the custom shop features (even not by the enhanced ones), I really need this functionality ...
Topic: Product Preview on my home page

Hi,

I want to let the user select a text and a picture on my own website and want to provide a preview of the products with the selected items w/o forwarding already to the product in my shop. This is the same as in the zazzle api example application "Hello, my name is" where the user can provide an own text. So with texts, I have no problem. But with pictures it doesn't work. If I debug my page, it returns
"Resource interpreted as Document but transferred with MIME type image/jpeg."

The link, I am using is:

https://rlv.zcache.com/baby_doll_tshirt-p235028289184821381qj9v_152.jpg?t_sr=250586061815537997&t_text1="Your Text"&t_image1=http://<myDomain>/<myPic>.jpg

It seems that the zazzle picture links only accepts internal ids for the included pictures and thus only accepts pictures that were uploaded before.

By the way the product link that will forward the user to my shop works properly and it also accepts external picture links ...

Any help is very appreciated ...
