There is potential for anyone willing to put in the effort. Don't ever let anyone el you that you won't succeed. If this is what you want to do, then go for it. Have patience. Have fun.

So 11 people out of ten of thousands are doing very well?

Hi all,
I'm on Zazzle for 1 year now.
When joining I've red of those people who made it here pretty good, and created solid income on Zazzle.
That inspired me. I'm working VERY VERY hard to make my store the best it can be, for about a year now.

However, reading some topics on this forum, helped me learn that people here don't earn that much on Zazzle. I never hoped to get rich, but I was working hard hoping I'll have a nice passive income and maybe cut 2 days from work every week when the time comes. But I'm starting to think i'm wasting my time, even some pro sellers say that they can earn only about 50$ a month at the moment.

Was my expectation not realistic? is Zazzle a tool to enjoy design products and thats it?

You do not say how much you have earned over the first year. I'm approaching 1 year and I have been averaging $10 per month. I put a lot of work in the first 3 months and churned out a few thousand products then gave up and focused my efforts elsewhere.

I never expected to earn a lot but I had hoped for $100 per month after some effort.

I think the search algorithm is a huge challenge for newbies. You need sales to improve your visibility but you need to first appear higher in searches in order to get sales.

I suspect a small minority earn big money but for most it is crumbs.

A whopping $8 total from 4000 products (200 designs) in 3 months for me.

I don't think that is true for 99% of people. I would expect a serious business to offer some chance of making a living out of it.

Earning a few dollars a month is not a serious business. It's a hobby.

I don't know if sales performance is terrible just for Newbies, or for everyone these days. There are many mistakes newbies can make as the previous post points out, but even if you avoid those pitfalls, sales are still few and far between, and if I get one it tends to be for pennies.

I thought I would give zazzle a try because things were challenging in stock photography. Suddenly my stock photography income looks like a fortune in comparison.
