I appreciate all of you sharing your own experience along this line. I will know in the future
to not automatically assume it is a mistake (glass half FULL!). Thanks everyone.

I am thrilled but somewhat skeptical regarding the new orders I found in my earnings report today. Someone (3rd party) ordered a quantity of 2 paperweights. And two MORE orders of 2 each--exactly the same as the first one and according to the time of order, these were all placed at the same exact time. I am thinking that this is a glitch or the customer hit a button more than once or thought the order did not take and placed it two more times?? If you wanted 6 of the same item, why would you not place them all in one order of 5 and not 3 orders of 2? And the time factor makes me think it is a mistake that the additional 2 orders of 2 each were made. What do you think? Time will tell, I guess!

Any chance they were customized? Like a name added? Was there a small 'c' in the report?

Hmmmm...well, yes a 'c' appears with each (3 orders total) order of 2, so maybe they won't be turning pink on me--fingers crossed! Thanks Gina for your thoughts.

They might be wedding favors for bridesmaids or something.

I've had orders like that with sunglasses and tote bags that I market specifically for bridesmaids.

8 pair of glasses all ordered at the same time.

6 tote bags...

all customized so they had to order them separately.

Thanks for weighing in Shelli!
