Topic: Greeting Cards new in-situ views
missprinteditions Posted: Monday, July 9, 2018 11:26:36 AM
I'm adding my voice to those who are urging the inclusion of a white envelope as the default setting for greeting cards. Even more important than the possible slight reduction in price if no envelope is chosen, I feel, is the scenario that many (if not most) customers will not realize there is a choice due to the wording and layout on the product page. This will cause unpleasant surprises, I fear, when people receive their card orders without the envelopes they were expecting. Please, please consider changing this.

Yes, indeed: these would be great. Many thanks for a marvelous new function.
Topic: Following feature: why would you like an option to opt out?

Though I certainly appreciate that a number of designers will welcome this function, I am one of those who is fervently hoping to be allowed to opt out. I feel that we should have the choice. I prefer to keep certain aspects of my Zazzle activities private; this would most assuredly be among them. Thank you for asking and, I do hope, implementing the possibility to choose not to participate.

It will all be public.

Unsure why you would want to hide this. If you feel different please let us know.

It should be private. No one needs to know how many followers a designer has and how many a designer is following. If nothing else, make that an opt in/out option, too, like was done with showing/not showing Pro levels. I prefer to keep certain things private. I don't share my Pro level. I don't post about my sales. I don't have the "Latest Sold" section on my profile/stores. If I choose to allow for followers, well the numbers, or lack thereof, should only be my business.

There also shouldn't be a chance for a designer just looking for followers for a boost to say "Hey, I am following you, but I see you aren't following me! Follow me or I will unfollow you!" (I state all this based on all the "Follow me and I will follow you" threads that have been posted over time for Facebook, Twitter, etc.

The above expresses my feelings perfectly. I echo Gina's wishes as well as store behaviors, and sincerely hope we will be given the option to opt out. Thank you.
