Topic: Updated Chat Functionality - official feedback thread

Having read every word in this thread and every word in the seven page locked thread, here's a reason for an opt out that I know you haven't heard. For over the last three years, my sister and I have been writing on $40 seven-inch RCA Android tablets from Walmart. We do have some design apps downloaded on our tablets, but we are not fooling ourselves that we will be able to do extensive designing, let alone custiomization. Furthermore, many of our design files are inaccessible on a couple of hard drives.

Now, if you want to gift us both with better equipment, then we might consider participating. However, owning better equipment, at this moment, would create another issue, not too mention that if you supplied it, the IRS might classify us as employees.

This brings me to a suggestion that I have made since I started on Zazzle. There are paid Zazzle employees to monitor the forum. So no designer should be telling other designers what they can and can't post.

I rarely heed the request when I think the request comes from a place I do not support or think is unreasonable but I acknowledge that the person has every right to express his or her wish. And it is nothing more than a wish since there is no obligation to adhere to the request.

Actually I took pleasure in not adhering to the request. Laughing

No matter how resolute and with an air of authority such a wish is expressed. I think it is important for a constructive and open discourse not to exclude those request or frown upon them.

By the way the statement itself is an oxymoron, since it tells people what they can and can't write in respect to requests not make exactly that not to tell what ... you know. Happy

I did enjoy your take in this post. Laughing

Whatever!!! In the past week, I was told that discussing my hometown was potentially contentious in a chat thread and thanked for taking it down. Then somebody did an attack feedback of my feedback instead of staying with the the topic that the feedback was supposed to be covering. Now I point out that this thread is about not expecting paid Zazzle employees to sort through what the OP of this thread decided was irrelevant in the feedback thread that paralleled the topic of that feedback thread with expectations on us to deal with customer private posts to us without pay and you tell me I am off topic. All three events have me justifiably riled.
