Topic: New Product: Bow Ties...

Well, there is a maker's Bow Tie product that customers can personalize
Here's the link to them on my system :

So, at least, there are Bow Ties for sale to customers, if not templates for designers to sell.

Does anyone have a temporary fix idea for the page break issue? My paycheck for this month is only 15% of what I made in January... so I'm feeling pretty discouraged right now without any functioning affiliate sites.

Between this and not having postage, I'm starting to feel like my days here are numbered Sad

This is heartbreaking after having such a successful 11 years with Zazzle.

I miss the days when affiliates felt supported.

Bumping this.

The ps issue in Mark's OP is an RSS feed issue and needs to be resolved for affiliate sites like ours to be of any use to customers.

Topic: New Blog Post - 3 Tips for creating referral links (something new)
DigitalDreambuilder Posted: Tuesday, May 16, 2017 11:41:51 PM
Here's a thought for Zazzle to consider :

When a promotion is introduced and applicable product pages display the promotion (code and expiry date) why not have the promo code (the 'pm' data) embedded in the rss product feed data at the same time for the duration of the promotion? It can then be picked up and displayed, and then dropped when it expires. (At the moment it's not an item in the rss feed).

Two immediate benefits of this approach, for promotion based on rss feeds :

- we wouldn't have to concern ourselves with tidying up promotional links; once the promotion is over the pm code disappears from the feed (and any promotional message we've set up to echo the promotion no longer appears to potential customers)

- we would be able to promote ANY product to which the pm code applies automatically, rather than prepare links for individual product or groups of products that include the pm code and that have to be tidied up once the promotion expires.

The structure of such an rss item would require a bit of thought but worth it for the main advantage of automatically detecting and informing customers of prevailing promotions.

Topic: Display RSS Feed as Image Grid on Wordpress Site

You could have a look at Bootstrap, especially the grid system components :

http://www.tutorialrepublic.com/twitter-bootstrap-tutorial/bootstrap-grid-system.php

Browse the topics on the side panel to get an idea of what Bootstrap can do. Basically it is a framework with a large set of CSS components which take your parsed RSS data and can present the dynamic data in many ways, including the grid-like format of old ZSB. It has a bit of learning curve but once you've set up the templates it's not too difficult to maintain. Many of my pages use it (they also use pre-bootstrap solutions) - see site in sig below for examples.
