Almost all the ornaments I've sold over the years are one-sided but they're usually customized and often when I viewed them from my earnings report, they'll be set to the back side, which makes me think that customers use the back to maybe add the date or some other information. So that could be a good reason to leave the back blank.

There are enough problems with indexing as it is. Be careful what you wish for! :-)

Well, I don't expect to see it in my lifetime but like Shelli said, indexing is already done and it would just be a matter of creating a new found set based on the products already pulled, but I get your concerns.

all it would have to do is shuffle the already indexed search results from all the pages... say you get to page 17 or whatever the limit is and you still want to see more you hit shuffle and results from pages 18 through 34 will show up... Maybe it could be part of the dropdown menu where the sort options are located.

This may not be anything like what Dementees had envisioned, and it may not be feasible but if they can tell you that 81,908 products are found then those must already be indexed and why can't we rotate through them 17 pages at a time?

Pretty close. I figured with each iteration of a shuffle it would go deeper into the original found set, so that the first time you hit shuffle it would randomly display products from the first 10 pages for example, and then each shuffle would go deeper and pull items further in so there's less chance of the same items showing up twice. The result would be more entertaining for the customer and might keep them on the site longer, plus it would give buried designs a chance to be seen and in the long run could only improve the overall quality of search results with the truly best designs showing up on top and not just the ones that get the most traffic.

Well, anyways, if I was CEO that's what I'd do.
