RSS Feed Questions
Posted: Thursday, January 02, 2020 4:00:11 PM
So I am currently building a website for my store. I am using Wix to do so.

The have a free app for RSS feeds call Feeder Ninja.

I am using this link through their feed option RSS: https://feed.zazzle.com/store/pacifiercity/rss?isz=large&rf=238713642921474635&tc=PCRSSFEED

It seems to load funny and in preview mode there are large gaps of blank space between images, titles and prices.

I haven't made the page public yet so I can't share a link so you can see what is happening.

But I am curious if anyone can give any advice about using Wix and an RSS feed. Also hoping I got the link shown above right.

Any feedback appreciated.

I don't use Wix, but the basics of bringing in a feed are the same everywhere.

For the isz= parameter, I use isz=328. "Large" never works for me.

For your ID, use at= and not rf= (don't recall why it's different).

For spacing and other display issues, that's going to be your Feeder Ninja's CSS (display/rendering code). Don't know how to direct you to edit that in Wix. You'll be looking for "style sheet" or "style.css" or something about display settings. Then it'll be (probably) margins or padding between elements you want to adjust. If you're lucky, it'll be drag and drop or some user friendly editing. ;)

Or someone with Wix experience pop in.

Thanks RoyK for those tidbits. I just noticed that my ref Id wasn't coming through. Now I know why. I'll try these tips and see where it gets me.

Happy New Year

Using numbers instead of words worked. Thanks

I'm still working on the other issues...
