From the ProForum: Stolen Designs on Aliexpress
Posted: Wednesday, July 29, 2015 11:17:12 PM
I hope it is ok to also mention this problem in the not-pro forum since I think it is important for ALL designers here on Zazzle.

For all who have a pro account, you can find the original topic here:

https://forum.zazzle.com/prodesigner/stolen_designs_on_aliexpress

The gist of this topic is that Aliexpress.com is part of the Al*baba network and they are selling OUR Zazzle designs for LESS, the designs must have been stolen from Zazzle or maybe other sources. It's a problem similar to what's currently going on over at Amazon.

Try searching Aliexpress.com for your designs, here is an example for my pretty popular "Santa Monica Pier" niche which lists one of my designs as smartphone cases:

Please help us, Zazzle!

Yeah, my artwork has been stolen too. Does anyone know a working email address to report the thieves? I clicked on the "Report Item" button and Alibab* wanted me to create an account with them. LOL.

Though, what I've been able to find so far were stolen from Society6 or Redbubble, and not Zazzle.

ps. We have a thread in the Your Zazzle Store forum talking about Amazon thieves, can we move this thread to that forum, somehow? I feel that that is a more appropriate forum for this topic.

Is there a live Zazzle moderator on these forums? It feels like whenever something like this happens when I read through the forums, no one from the Z company ever speaks up or offers a solution? Do any of these thieves ever get addressed? I've heard of alliexpress being a hotbed for thieves before and also Amazon.

is it a genuine website? i am only asking before i click because wallpart turned out to be a grand phishsing scheme. you click on the website thinking they are offering your art for sale then when you click and file their dmca form they use it to gleam info and give your computer a virus...

Aliexpress is part of Alibab*a and they're both legit, maybe one of the biggest companies in China. Though whether or not 99.99% of the things they sell are stolen designs or counterfeit is another story...

I'm not in the Pro forum (yet) and I'm also new here, so I'm just wondering aloud, here. What CAN Zazzle do? I would think we as the original designers would have to find and identify the stolen designs ourselves. And I won't opt for putting watermarks all over my images or using smaller previews. I wonder if anyone in the Pro forum could share with us if anything can be / is being done on Zazzle's part?
