Personal Messages from Designers to Customers

Hello Designers,

We recently added the ability to display a personalized message when customers interact with your products or stores! This will come in the form of a brief message which will be displayed in highly visible areas of an existing Zazzle page. Currently, we’ll be displaying a unique message any time a customer interacts in these ways:

- When a customer follows your store
- When a customer adds one of your products to their cart
- When a customer purchases one of your products

You can personalize these messages in your member profile’s Advanced Settings page.



In this section you will be able to enter in a short message for each of the four events listed above - or feel free to utilize what is already included. These messages will then be showcased automatically to customers, with no further action needed from you. We are doing all the heavy lifting so you can more seamlessly create impactful connections with those who are purchasing from your store.

One important item to remember is that we automatically add a greeting to the beginning of the message. This means that each message will always start with “Hi Customer!,” with the customer’s first name added in automatically. We wanted to incorporate the customer’s first name into the messaging, and doing this requires a bit of work from our end. So please keep this greeting in mind as you consider how you’ll personalize these messages.
