New Product - Custom Afridrilles
Posted: Friday, July 26, 2019 11:30:33 AM
We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for your designs – the Afridrille by our partner Ubuntu Life in Kenya!

We’ve had a ‘configurable’ version of the Afridrille on Zazzle for quite some time (where one could swap out patterns and colors). We recently announced a new line of designs from our brand partners that are printed with their original content. Today, we’re releasing another version that YOU can design on.

There are certain constraints that need to be adhered to during the design process because these are full cut-and-sew printed shoes and we can’t guarantee design placement on the shoes. Because of this, we’ve restricted who’s been pre-approved to design on these shoes. If you are interested in learning more about designing on Afridrille shoes, go to this help article to learn if you’re pre-approved or how to become approved if you’re not.

Happy Designing

Hi Designers!

We discovered an issue with the approval process for Afridrille shoes so we won't be able to approve them until the issue is resolved. You can keep submitting products, but they will be in the appoval queue until we fix the issue which may take until early next week. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for making awesome products!

James C

P.S. Per the Design Constraints in the help article don't forget to turn the setting ‘Show "Customize it" button?' to No during the Post Product for Sale process.

Hi Designers,

As a few of you have noticed have started processing the Afridrille product submissions for approval now. Thanks for your patience and don't forget to turn off customization as it is causing a significant amount of rejections.

I love what you guys are publishing! The designs are beautiful. Roses Roses

Hello again Designers!

It was noted in the thread that you will see the Customize button on the product detail page for your shoes if you are logged in. This is true because you have an account property that allows you to edit the product type which is why you could post them for sale in the first place. Log out and if you have your product configured properly you won't see the customize button.

Happy Designing!
