Business Card Refresh

Hi Designers,

We’ve got some exciting updates coming down the pipeline that we want to make you aware of!

Business cards are a huge product line for us and we’re consistently trying to make them better. In the upcoming week, we will be updating the entire product line in a very significant way. Business cards were first launched in 2007 and so they’re due for a little facelift.

The refresh will consist of the following:

1. Upgraded Paper Types
We’re completely upgrading our paper selection! Based on designers’ and customers’ feedback, our team has scoured all the paper mills and have found quality papers that do not disappoint. We’re excited for you guys to experience the difference!

2. More Sizes
In the past, we’ve only offered three sizes. Our refresh will consist of us adding some new commonly requested sizes, as well as sizes for our ever-growing international customer base as well!

3. Updated Cutting Quality
We’ve bought the latest machine for digital precision cutting. The quality that will come out of this refresh will be amazing and we can’t wait for you to experience the difference.

4. Prices
With all the updates you might think our prices are going up, but we’ve been able to cut certain costs so that these savings will be passed on to our customers.

5. Onsite User Experience
There will be small site updates and improvements to help both you, the designer, and the customers better understand our product offerings.

What else should you know about this refresh? First of all, don't worry; all your current designs will be migrated over so you don’t need to do anything. Additionally, we will inform you as soon as you can start creating more designs for the new sizes.

During the next week as we undergo the refresh, please report any problems you see to this thread (Business Card Refresh Issues). Our engineers will be working hard to fix any bugs.

For questions or feedback, please post them here.

We’re very excited for this refresh and we appreciate your support as we continue to elevate the product quality of our business cards. We’ll be back to you shortly with more information on the updates we’re making.

Best Regards,
Your friends at Zazzle

We have now launched the colored papers – kraft, black, and grey! Originally, we wanted to have a “natural vs. vibrant printing process” for these. Our engineering team is still working on making that happen, but it may take a while for us to officially get that going. Also because we want to make sure it’ll work when we launch foil on these afterwards (yes, I said it… FOIL). So we hope you guys can be a bit more patience with us as we work through that.Smile

For now, please note that the printing on the premium color papers will have a white ink background on it to help make the colors pop.

You guys can continue to keep the feedback and questions coming here.
Report any bugs you see for this here.
And any important info you’d like us to add to our FAQs section, post here.
