We in the forums are Designers. We put images/designs/text on products that Zazzle provides. Most of the images/designs/text are in templates that the customer can change and personalize.

Makers provide the product that they produce/manufacture... When provided to Zazzle, customers (not designers) can personalize the products for purchase. Some Makers provide products to Zazzle for our use to design and post for sale. You can get an idea of who/what they are by looking here: Makers

Hello All - My name is Jim. My wife is Gayle. Together, we're JAG. We are just stepping in to get our feet wet in the Zazzle community.
With just 160 designs so far, the whole process is a bit overwhelming at times for this couple of senior citizens about to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. We are Old School and slow to catch-on, but will watch this forum to gather what info we can.

Our storefront is at https://zazzle.com/designsbyjag I invite you to check us out and pass along any recommendations or assistance you care to send our way.

Hello All!
I am new to Zazzle and was wondering if there is a way I can move my saved designs (on my account) to my store?

Thank you for any feedback, I appreciate it!

Did you use Quick Create? If so, products will go into the saved folder if you did any kind of tweaking inside of QC and they will be moved from that folder automatically in due time.

If not using QC, then just continue designing the product and post it for sale.

I did not use QC, thanks for the information!

Jim and Gayle,

Congratulations on achieving that golden milestone.

Here are some things that might help you with your Zazzle store.

ABOUT PAGE
Add more to your About page. The more you write about your store and yourselves, the better. Tell me about yourselves, and the places you've visited. Be as specific as possible. You are putting a face to not just yourselves for customers, but also giving them the backstory to, and purpose of your store, and your brand, and the target market(s) you are after.

PRODUCT TITLES
The more descriptive you are in your titles, the easier it will be for potential customers to find your products on the Zazzle marketplace, and for search engines like Bing, Google, etc., to find and index your product offerings. Use adjectives such as "funny", "beautiful", "inspirational", etc. as appropriate to the tone of your image or text. Use color descriptors if there is a dominant color (or colors), e.g. "blue", "gold".

As examples:
https://www.zazzle.com/journal_with_photo_and_college_ruled_pages-256582280728244269
Current title does not describe your image for search engines. Consider changing it to a more descriptive title, like "Beautiful Scenic Sunlit Mountain Lake"

https://www.zazzle.com/t_shirt_that_tells_it_like_it_is-235904635682172624
Current title is too generic, and does not describe your image for search engines. Consider changing it to a more descriptive title, like "Funny Bowl of Baked Beans with Windy Forecast"

DESCRIPTIONS
Be as descriptive as possible. What you write should elaborate upon the product description.

As an example:
https://www.zazzle.com/journal_with_photo_and_college_ruled_pages-256582280728244269
Tell me where and when you took this photo! Smile

TAGS
Be as descriptive as possible. Tone of image / text, colors of image, place names, etc.

As examples:
https://www.zazzle.com/t_shirt_that_tells_it_like_it_is-235904635682172624
For this product, consider tags like "full of gas", "farty humor", and "flatulence"

https://www.zazzle.com/journal_with_photo_and_college_ruled_pages-256582280728244269
For this product, consider tags like "mountain", "scenic", "lake", "nature", "blue", "green" and even the specific place.
You don't need to put "journal" or "notebook", as Zazzle automatically adds these descriptors for you.

COLLECTIONS
Consider creating at least a couple of Collections. This will help visitors, once they've arrived at your store, to find themes that interest them. You have images from your travels and words of wisdom, so collections that cover (1) Travel and (2) Words of Wisdom, might be a good starting point. Each collection holds up to 300 products, so should you exceed this figure, you can create more collections.

PROMOTING YOUR PRODUCTS
Even if you do not have Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest accounts, the Zazzle Show Me forum is a good place to start sharing and advertising your products.

Good luck and good sales,
W.H.

Hello! I'm not exactly new, more a very old returning member. I was going through my old emails looking for a puppy picture of my dog and realized I had sold something on my Zazzle store in 2013 and had no idea! I'd honestly forgotten about this place and thought I might try returning. I've been doing a lot of research and am slowly building up my new store. Let me know if you have any suggestions, it would be much appreciated! https://www.zazzle.com/store/serenehoundstudio
