There is no business advertising allowed on postage stamps, but that is the only restricted product I can think of. Other than that, you can certainly add your website or business link to anything you choose. Many many people do just that.

You could have posted under Your Zazzle Store or Create Products, but it's okay here.

I get email notices, but sometimes the product doesn't show up until at least a day later, but often times within the same day.

Just wait and be patient. It can take a couple of days, especially during weekends and holidays. This is a holiday weekend...Father's Day is tomorrow.

There's a post in the news forum saying there is currently a delay in products showing up.

Hi, I have a bit of a curly question, and I figured this thread was the best to ask it.
I've recently started a blog that makes spoof magazine and news articles and covers for a movie franchise using actual mastheads, and images from both the film franchise, and the actors who have roles therein. What I'm wanting to do, is open a store for the blog without using any of the actual content, instead just the logo I have designed myself, and varous slogans that won't contain any copyrighted content.
Is anyone aware of the legalities surrounding making money from a site that promotes and primarily contains transformative works, but doesn't directly use the images in any of their products? I want to donate 50% of all profits to charitable organisations, as this isn't really about me making money, more aimed at offering fun items for fans to purchase.

Hi friends, i am also a new one to zazzle, joined a few days back, but finding it all confusing a bit. I just want to know if i like some product of any zazzler and want to promote it on my blog etc then how can i do so? I mean how to add my associate id to it so that i can get commission if they are sold. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

HI zazzle friends
I have had my zazzle store for a year now and just starting to rock and roll. there is a huge learning curve but well worth it. I am intending on making a living off this site and my Etsy store as well. I really do love this format. Thanks for all the great info. learning never ends.

I had a question though. Does anyone know why 10 of my designs showed up months later than when I uploaded them? is it because the item I printed on was not available at that time and now it is? I have a bunch of phone cases that just appeared on my store that where uploaded 4 months ago.

Good luck to all of you.

thanks
Linda

It's usually best to work on your store first, before promoting too much, most of your sales will come from the market place anyway. Promoting is a lot of work. I've only really just started to promote, as I make enough sales here from the MP to make a living. Not saying you shouldn't of course.
Really like your photos and your website, but your tags could be a bit better. As could a lot of my earlier ones xd
e.g. Chestnut baby foal. - POWERTAGS
(foal, horse, horses, pony, ponies, chestnut, new, forest, baby, young,)
You could make New+Forest, Horse+foal, or Chestnut+pony as tags that would condense your tags down and make better use of them. Remember most people search by phrases e.g cute baby foal photograph. At the moment your other tags like animal, wildlife wont show in searches within Zazzle so anyone looking for beautiful animals or animal portrait won't find your product.
Another is your Tiger greeting card, it has tags like fresh, and new?? but no tags for indian+wildlife, big+cat, or even animal or animals.
Also be aware that the Zazzle search also pulls up words from your description. I just did a search for childrens newest and 3 of you products appeared You don't have children in your tags but you do in your description. As your tiger, cheetah portrait, or cute gosling have nothing to do with children it could be considered spam, (unintentional of course) and not helpful to any one searching childrens gifts. I did the same a while back telling customers to click the "orange customize button" (now an almost invisible blue) before I realized that the description is searched too and my products were appearing in searches for orange and buttons. xd
Hope you don't feel I'm ripping your work to pieces, as I think its good, just trying to get you more sales. Will try to promote you on my site. Good luck with your store.

P.S.Editing to add just noticed your cards and some other products are not customizable, don't know if you intended not to show the Customize button, but a lot of people like to add their own text to greeting to a card either on the inside or out.

Thank you, I wish I'd taken the time to seek out these posts instead of presuming I knew it all. It's making sense, and the inspiration is backing up and ready to explode! Grin Nick

Hello everyone— posting here first in case this falls under FAQ.

I have lost the ability to connect with my store and my page has been stripped of all identifying logos. However, my products are still on display for sale. Trying to contact Zazzle directly hasn't yielded me much luck. Would anyone know how to fix this? I plan to update and expand product lines, but not if I have no governance over the art.

So I just created my account and went to setup a store. It says my store name is available, but every time I've done the little security thing where you type in the distorted letters it tells me there was an error setting up my store. I've done it about 35 times now (I'm actually not exaggerating about that...) and still the same thing...surely ONE of those had to be right...anyone else having this problem?

Sometimes the name you pick actually isn't available. Someone may have already picked that name, and have the store set to private. I don't know why, but if this is the case it will say the name is available, when it really is not. Try another name.

Hi... Happy

My work was not rejected, but I would like to know. I'm creating products with a business logo on it. I do have their permission. Is that allowed? And to whom, or where do I have to post the "permission letter"?

Here is the link to such a product:

I designed a mug, and saved it, and now I can't get back to my store to find it. Just created the store today--do I have to wait until it shows up on a search?

Help!

Also--in designing the mug, they don't show you a straight-on shot of the mug; it's slightly-turned away. Placing the image well is a bit of a challenge. Got any tips for that? Thanks!

-SNIP- Q.) Why was my design rejected/deleted? (Paraphrased Answer: Copyright and/or trademark infringement) -SNIP-

In addition to infringement of copyright or trademark, designs have been rejected for being of a potentially offensive religious nature. For example, my cartoonish "Walk in the Valley" montage -- of Jesus dispatching a detachment of demons -- was approved for public display on CafePress after it had been turned down by Zazzle.

All things noted, I prefer Zazzle because CafePress tends to load all products in a store into one page instead of segment them 24 or so at a time like Zazzle does. I find "store section creation" works for me on Zazzle but not on CafePress, so the latter lost a customer -- except for posting the occasional design of original copyright that Zazzle declines.

I read the entire FAQ -- all seven pages of it -- but have yet to find answers for the following questions:

1) Where is the glossary of initialisms used in these forums? I've seen SK, POD, and so on but not in spelled-out form:
SK = Shop Keeper?
POD = Professional Online Designer?
(I've not seen anything about Zazzle items being Payable on Delivery, so I doubt POD means that within this context.)

2) What is the purpose of having these characters at the bottom of every Zazzle page?
zxgx zx1x zx1w zzpf zx1i zxpk zxol zb08j zxom

POD = Print On Demand

Thank you, Vade!

Now to decipher the gobbledygook characters beneath the main content frame of every Zazzle page:
zxgx zx1x zx1w zzpf zx1i zxpk zxol zb08j zxom

There are too many "z"s, "x"s, and numbers for a Caesar cipher to feasibly unscramble the message. Even if a 36-character alphanumeric transposition cycle had indeed encoded a message in those nonsense strings, I don't have the time to sift through sequences of character transpositions just to uncover a non-monetizable Easter egg.

Asking directly in these forums is my best bet.

I don't see that. What browser are you using?

Hello, Maz! I use Firefox 28, purposefully not "upgrading" to the 29th or later versions.

I use Chrome, and don't see it. I have Firefox 31.0, didn't see it there either.

Your Firefox version apparently has a bug in it. Why aren't you upgrading? Version 30 worked great for me, and now so does version 31.
