The whole dead muse things rings pretty true to me right now. I have a brainstorming notebook, but I can't put the ideas together in my head right now. Maybe it's time for a quick break. I think I did pretty well for my first month on Zazzle and my goal is to match or break what I made during the Christmas season. I'm hoping it wasn't just a fluke... D:

I just opened my store a week ago, and have about 1300 products up at the moment.

I know that sales will take time, but it's quite difficult knowing whether your products are good enough without them. If anyone could give me some critique on my store/tips for improvement, that would be really useful.

My store can be found at /shuttersnaps.

Thanks alot!

Thanks, I joined zazzle in 2008, but I didn't do anything at that time. This year I started uploading images and created products. I love how easy it is to use and how you can quick create custom products you wish, but I am not sure if I am getting enough views.

I looked at your products and am sorry to say that you misspelt 'Moustache' with 'Mustache'. Here is what I am talking about:- Moustache or Mustache? that is the question...

I just started about 2 months ago and had a great selling spree that lasted over a week, making a sale about every other day. Then it stopped just over a week ago and I was getting a bit dejected. However, I just checked my sales again (I check them every few hours.. that is how addicted I am now) and found a new sale! This might sound funny to the ProSellers that get lots of sales, but to us newbies, it's very exciting!

My store is a niche kind, dealing in foreign languages, so hard to know how many people will be looking for the stuff. This sale was a t-shirt that said "I can speak Tagalog. What is your superpower?" to someone in Canada. Smile

Such an awesome post. I haven't made any sales but I am still going. Thanks for the inspiration!

I still have to force myself not to check all of the time. When I get a sale it is even worse for a while.

I still get excited, even if I sell a key chain and only make 30 Cents. I kind of hope that thrill never goes away. It is nice to know someone likes something that you have created.

I posted one of your pillows to my Pinterest Pillow board. Let's hope for a sale and we can both get excited. Grin

I was feeling bad since I hadn't gotten any more sales since my post, then WHAM, got another day, for 7 of my coasters, my biggest sale yet. That also determined what I had as a best seller.. a very simple design. I instantly applied it to a lot more products, including my first blanket. I've also gotten two other people in my niche (foreign languages) to start their own stores. So don't lose faith!

thanks for the encouragement. I am new to zazzle but i know how hard it can be to sell art online my first attempt was at fine art america i havent made any sales there but thats probly cause i didn't put much effort into it. I've been on fine art america for a year now i mostly do drawings and Photography. But i am going to try harder with both fine art america and zazzle.

I don't know if it is because of the pre-Christmas rush, but I've had 4 sales in the past 36 house, which is amazing and exciting to me.

I now have to clear out a closet to prepare for all the stacks of money I will be making. Grin

I know. After I posted this, I got another sale.

What is better is, the last 3 sales have been by referral, so someone is promoting my stuff. Idea

Hi Shay - just wanted to mention that the link you put in your post doesn't work (I think because of the dotcom at the end). The only way I could find your products was to click on your user name and go from there. I like the way you've arranged your store, btw.

Not exactly new to Zazzle yet new to the forums, I've been focusing entirely on my Zazzle store in the recent months (August being my best sales month so far), I'd be at Pro Designer status if overseas sales weren't excluded... I'd much appreciate your advice as I try to improve my zRank and overall sales. www.zazzle.com/PurpleCatArts
