Just wanted to send some positive vibes to all those feeling like these forums are so heavy lately (and that definitely include the poor moderators)...

Love Love Love Love Love
My wish for you is simple. I wish for you to see the world for what it is — a place filled with endless color, beauty and adventure. I hope that you will always remember who you are and what you can do with all that fire inside you. I wish for you to find the things you love — the things that stir your soul and awaken your heart. I hope that you will always have the courage to follow where they lead. I wish for you to see the best in people, to choose kindness, decency and grace. I hope that you will always end the day with a clean heart. I wish for you to see the open sky —to see the stars and know that they are ready for you to shine. I hope that you will always have the strength to love hard, dream wide and create a life full of magic. Above everything else, I hope that you never stop wishing — every great possibility begins with a wish.

Love Love Love Love Love
Be the warm yellow light that pours over everyone you love Love Small random acts of kindness make the world go'round. One drop in a pond makes ripples. Be that drop. Be the one who picks up the trash that someone carelessly threw down~ be the one to flash a smile where there are only frowns~ be the one who sees good where there is only bad ~lend a helping hand where there is none lent to you~ plant something green where only brown covers the ground~ talk to the shy person in the corner~ show love to someone who doesn't show you any~ find thankfulness where jealousy exists~ speak quietly and calmly when you want to yell and scream~ stop and help the lost dog when no one else will~ carry the elderly ladies groceries to her car when everyone turns away~ hold the door for the man that won't even look at you~ stop the bullying~ be the change~ be the drop~ be the one that doesn't ask for anything in return~ be the one to stand up and do it for yourself not for anyone else, just for you, for your soul, and you will change this world.

I'm seeing now a couple of deleters claiming that customers will leave due to "dead" affiliate links. No, not necessarily. Nothing is stopping the curious shopper from browsing and clicking on nav links. They don't have to immediately click X and leave.

My sales have picked up noticeably. I had a good day. I'm posting more designs (w/ customization disabled). I will also be deleting old listings after revising to disable customization.

Sure, things could be better but I don't see this as the Apocalypse by any means. I used to give up easily and sabotage myself when I was about to succeed at things but now when something like this happens, I adapt as best as I can.

This thread is a nice change from recent forum vibes. I dont post often because many times because I dont appreciate backlash and drama but lately I have been lurking and reading. The only thing I may be giving up are the forums due to the increased feeling of negativity. Crying I personally do not understand what all the hubbub is about and why everyone is ready to revolt and leave but I guess it's because Zazzle has always been about a passive, fun income for me. It's something I started all those many years ago to try and earn a little extra income for my family when doing something that I thought was so much fun! And still do! Maybe it's because I am not trying to make a name for myself in the art world. I'm just having fun making cute and pretty things that I think people might like and enjoy seeing some $ when it sells. I suppose i would feel differently or more passionate if this was my sole income, but that's why my feelings are my own. I appreciate this thread being started. Positive vibes are hard to come by on here and in the real world, so embrace it where you find it. ❤

To everything there is a season

there is a time to be positive

there is also a time to be serious

When the art that you create comes from your soul, you want to protect it whether it is your main source of income or not.

It's too bad that the brevity of this latest situation is being taken as being negative.

And that some of us who are resisting losing our IP and copyrights are being labeled as negative.

I assure you that I never wanted to have to deal with this and I was ready to enjoy a nice holiday season of sales and positive vibes too.

But there is a time to stand up for your rights and there is also a time when it will be too late for that, if it isn't already.

I do hope that you all have a nice weekend though.

ETA: Please don't read anger into this post.

if anything it is just sadness at what is going on.

Zazzle certainly needs to clarify and perhaps change some of what they've done, but any stress I'm feeling is the result of people getting so wrapped up in their own anger that they've begun swiping at those around them. Solution? Threads like this or remembering to go do other fun stuff. I'm currently sewing lounge pants, not that I actually need them, but they're quick and fun to sew.

What would you like to do today? Whatever it is, do it if you can.

I am here this morning, doing a wee bit of work while having coffee, and I have a tummy (yes, I said tummy) full of butterflies! We are packing this week-end, getting ready for our move 3 hours away to the SC coast (husband has been transferred - 2nd time in less than 10 years). It is exciting, yet bittersweet. Four of our adult kids (what an oxymoron!), and our two little grandsons, are being left behind and, though there will be visits, we know we will still miss them. Our youngest (21) has made the choice to go along with us. She wants to live at the coast! I wanted to at 21 myself, so I am not gonna stop her from following along! Anyways... I am renovating my store and so I am trying to get some work done here while I still have internet. I am flumoxed by what is going on here, and I have stated my opinion, but I can't let it weigh me down. I have way too much to look forward to on this new adventure of ours and I don't want anything going on here ruining that. Alrighty then, I've got lots to do! Y'all have a great week-end! And, if I am offline longer than expected, Happy Thanksgiving (28th), too, to those in the USA! Ciao!

My word it didn't take long to turn this thread into something it was intended not to be.

Shelly I know you are sad and what I will write in my next line is not directed at you. Love

My only wish is that those who are upset or angry please don't bring every thread down with you. Let it go, leave if you must but don't spew "the sky is falling" sentiments where ever you post. We all have read your thoughts and we get it.

Colorwash and Gina have the right idea. It's time to stop lamenting and do something that brings you piece of mind. Remember, when one door closes another opens.

Kelly @ I know how you feel. It's like a train wreck that keeps following you around. lol

Gina safe journey and hazah to the new beginning! Smile

I'm off to find a patch of sun, eat lunch and maybe do some reading.

Joining the relaxing party here that weekend with an olive-harvesting Sunday (to make my mom happy with some company, never had a green thumb here) and the daily rescue fun afterwards. Tonight some xmas stocking I want to finish, then a game. Sadly, there is also a kitty burying on my to-do-list, which I missed since yesterday and now found under the car of the neighbours (no, they care of the ferals here as I do, it was the work of a careless, half-blind idiot, which unfortunately are abundant here).

Good news: no more TOS debates on my list, unless I get mentioned. My wall told me to stop caring, what is good advice.

Sooooo.... enjoy your free, relaxing day(s) and don't stress yourselves too much. We survived the 2012 Mayan apocalypse, we will survive also that little virtual downpour ;-)

Cheers!

Yes this post was not written to make light of people's concerns. I never used the word negative. I said the forums felt "heavy" is all... life is too short for me to let it feel heavy. After I lost my mom I try to honor her everyday by trying to remember none of us are getting out of here alive. So again thank you to everyone who at least smiled from the words that were lovingly written for all to read. I truly wish everyone nothing but the best life has to offer.

Life is not always going to go as you had planned — tides change and things go in different directions. You can't stop the waves from happening, but you can learn to move with them. They may not take you in the direction that you had planned, but they will take you exactly where you are meant to be.

And that said this weekend will be spent how it usually is... out for a walk in the woods or by the ocean with my kids, home to cook dinner because we are blessed to have food in our fridge, and perhaps a little computer time in the evening after they are tucked into their warms beds Love Love Love

I'm so very sorry about the kitty. I care for ferals too, and I know that just because you can't touch them, doesn't mean you can't love them. Sending you virtual purrs. Roses Roses
