Zazzle Pro status

Does anyone know when your stores are officially supposed to get Zazzle Pro status? I thought it was when you hit $100 lifetime earnings across all stores.

I have two stores, both combined have made about $140 and one has made about $108 and I haven't seen the status change. Am I missing something?

Only sales within the United States are counted, I believe. Someone correct me if I am wrong please

You aren't wrong. It has to be U.S. sales and the $100 can include only cleared sales.

You are correct.

Also, there is a waiting period, to make sure all sales have completely cleared, before status is granted.

One day when you are least expecting it, all of a sudden you will notice you have a pro badge... unless you get lucky and actually get the email notification first. lol

No email happened for me. One day I simply noticed the forums looked different, though I never figured out how long it took me to notice. I often can be found looking in the wrong direction.

Thanks everyone for your help. I have over 100 earned in US sales that are cleared, but I guess I'll just have to wait. Grin

It's kind of unfair that only US sales count. I get a lot of sales from the UK, and I'm sure others do too. Also, it puts designers not in the US at a disadvantage.

I wouldn't say that. There are many Pros from outside of the US because they have sales from the US. Probably due to marketing to the US with links from the .com domain.

And many of them earned the status long before the minimum earning amount was $100 lifetime. There was a time when we had to have a certain amount in sales, three months in a row in order to become Pro. It is when I earned my Pro status. Basic level didn't exist at the time and neither did the lifetime earnings requirement. It was very hard to do a certain amount of sales 3 months in a row (one miss and ya had to start all over) but many non-US designers earned theirs during that time. So I don't think any are at a disadvantage due to the US cleared earnings only that has been in place since the beginning of the program.

You graduate to pro sometime after the payday that you become eligible/have been paid $100.

You don't get a sale notification when the product has shipped? Email notifications have been rather iffy for a lot of people and for a very long time.

I had that problem for a while, and after some back and forth, I discovered Zazzle has more than one database for members. You can be in one of them but not another, and I bet this is what happened to you. I've no idea if this will help, but you might try refreshing all the places in which you can sign up for email. I know there's more than one but can't remember what's where. Maybe someone else can give you the locations.

I got basic pro badge under my profile yesterday, I think this happens after reaching sales of USD100 (from US sales only) and cleared (about a month after sale date). I haven't received any notification from Zazzle, maybe this will come later.

You should have celebrated with a super high-calorie New York cheesecake. That's what I would have done anyway.

I have over $100 for *one of my stores* in "Earnings created over 30 days ago, thus cleared to be paid."

Is that the amount I should be getting paid, and when? (I haven't kept track of how many days it's been at that level, dammit. Is there a way for me to tell?)

Then "sometime after" I get paid, I may or may not get an email about being Pro, but the badge should show up under my name in my store? When?

If I should be asking Customer Service these questions, please let me know. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around all this. Crying

once you have cleared $100 in sales from the .com site in US dollars you are eligible for pro status and mine took about a month after that before I got my badge.

I think the email is supposed to come before the badge but I never got the email at all. Just one day I noticed there was a new section of the forums open to me and I had a pro badge under my profile pic and then I went into my settings and enabled my pro badge to show on my store too.

Adding: The same process happened when I finally leveled up to bronze.

Go to your payment history report. Each month you got paid is broken down into currencies. USD = sales from .com. Add those up. You have to have already been paid the money.

This isn't a question for customer service. Anything you need to know about the program can be found in the forums or by reading this: How The Pro Designer Program Works

Gadz, you mean those amounts need to equal $100 or over? Then I still have quite a wait. Good grief.

Thanks.

Is there any way to tell which are US sales versus non-US? I have A LOT of sales now, and there's just no way I'd go back thru the years adding the US ones month per month to see if I've reached $25,000!Shocked

Go to your payment history. Each time you are paid it shows you the different currencies. Add up the USD amounts.

I have not found such a sorting option on Zazzle. I think you will have to use the export to Excel option and then sort it in Excel (assuming you have Excel). I am sooooooo close to Bronze but only in Excel can I figure out just how close by taking out the non-US currencies.

Adding by hand sounds grim indeed.

There are different levels of Pro, but that is all. Nothing comes after Pro.
