Hi, I have a question about creating different cases for phones. I know you can create an individual product for a particular model of phone, but there’s also a drop down menu where a customer can choose which size of phone their art will go on.

Do you tend to create individual products per phone size, or do you just create a master item and people can choose their own phone size? Thanks.

I, for one, just like to mostly use the current model of phone as the main option, and have my design be adaptable to the other models if needed. I think, (personally anyway) it got confusing and hard to keep track of for me... also you have to look at your # of products to sales ratio. You want that # as high as possible so that means trimming the fat so-to-speak. Also, your store will be easier to shop. That's my 2 cents! Grin

When I put designs on phone cases, I tend to put the design on all because, unless something has changed with search, if a customer searches for a particular model/style your design will not come up if it isn't on the case the customer has searched for.

Thanks Gina, yes that is important. I also noticed that when you select another phone, the artwork might not fit the dimensions correctly.
