I have seen some shop keepers that have nice paragraph formatting. I can't get any breaks between paragraphs. I've used: the ENTER KEY <br> and </br> the only thing I've come up with is a line of equal signs (======================================== to show a new thought. If you have a paragraph/line break in your profile About section, please let me know how you got it.

No. I haven't worked it out either. Will post if I do.

Is there a character that doesn't print and that might be used? Just a thought based on no knowledge.

Does anyone care to provide an answer to this troublesome issue?

I'd also love to find out about that. I did type it with breaks, but, it does not publish with breaks.
I have just tried adding a second line between each paragraph by hitting enter again. Nope. Not that either~

This thread is 2 1/2 years old. They took away the ability to use html anywhere a few years ago.

Thanks Maz!!! Good Grief- that explains it perfectly. Lesson learned about CHECKING THE DATES IN THE FORUM.

HTML can be used to hack websites, so most sites don't allow it to be used. Some use BBCode for input fields, like what we have here in the forum, and that is a workaround, but I just looked and there aren't any options for that in About Me. What I generally do on sites that won't allow paragraph breaks is hit enter, do a period, hit enter, start next paragraph. Thing is, I usually make the period the same color as the background! We don't have that option either, but a period can be less distracting than a bar.
