Does anybody sell Men's Neck Ties? .. how are sales? .. I was going to increase the amount of designs I have but not sure if it is worth the time and effort if they don't sell well.

Thanks,
W

Hi William, I made about 20 or so yesterday and Made a collection of them. Zazzle sent out an email that said 25% off on neckties, I am hoping I get a few sales on my designs. I think They will make nice gifts for Fathers Day. Roses Love

During the years I've had ties in my store, I've sold just one. However, there are those who've reported doing fairly well with them.

I think I’ve only sold one but I like designing them and maybe someday more will sell.

Barbara, Your necktie sales are fantastic! Congratulations! Your tie designs are very creative. Do you think your necktie collection has helped with your sales?

Another thing I noticed when researching ties was the different spellings. "Neck Tie" is on the product. However, "necktie" is used in North America and also is considered an old-fashioned spelling. I decided to use both spellings in description and tags.

I just made the collection yesterday, Thank you so much for liking my designs. The listing by Zazzle on the product description add's neck tie 2 words at the end. But it should also be necktie as one word in the search tags.

I had 2 or 3 ties, just laying around without any sales, and suddenly sold one yesterday. Happy
So I run and create a few more, and put them in a collection. We shall see. Hopefully they will start moving.

You made very nice ties, Barbara! Love

I think men still using them, I saw in product review for ties one buyer said that he collects them.

I sell a few every month and the royalty is decent so it makes them worth doing...not to mention they are easy and fun to create Grin

I've sold a few - pretty much all novelty styles, and I think usually when they are on sale. I imagine if you want a really nice, really truly dressy tie, you'd want to splurge on real silk. Good silk ties aren't even super expensive as little as $20 even - so cheaper than the poly ones here, but novelty designs people will go for.

Ties seem to be a niche market. Most of our successful designs are sports and recreation themed and the bulk of sales occur around Father's Day and Christmas.

I've sold 11 ties so far. Don't sell them often. One tie, is a simple pastel blue, that can be worn around Easter or a wedding. Sold 2 of those to one person.
