Greeting Cards: some cards didn't transfer to new in situ views
Posted: Sunday, September 09, 2018 3:01:24 AM
Hi,
Since the changeover for the new in situ views, some of my cards didn't transfer over, and I can't unlock them to copy/transfer over to a new card and delete the original ones.

Product ID's:

Thank you Smile

I have 14 that didn’t transfer.

I have been waiting, hoping that some of my missing items would eventually transfer, but this seems not to be happening. Here are some example PIDs:

Just checked one of my stores and a few have the new view but many others don't. They are all supposed to?

Hey guys, thanks for PID's, I see what you mean. Can I just ask where you would like for these designs to go? Smile

Thanks for the response Aisling.

Cards that say "Birthday" in the title need to go in the Greeting cards/Birthday sub-department. With "Christmas" in the title into the holidays/Christmas department. The blank cards and the "Good Luck" cards would have to go in the generic "Greeting Cards" department I believe.

However, I only supplied examples of the cards that have not transferred over to the new formats. Do you need a complete list to be able to fix this?

(Btw are Zazzle aware that on the .co.uk site, cards that have not transferred over are showing at the old price of £2.65 instead of £2.99 - for cards that are $3.30 on the .com site.)

I am re-doing mine, so no need to do anything with them, but thank you Smile

Seems I missed this, how do I see the in situ view?

Are we to list the product numbers here?

The in situ view has a vase with flowers in the background. The old view shows only the card itself.

Thanks for the reply but how do I see it? I only see the old views of just the card.

I'm looking at your cards here: https://www.zazzle.com/sakiphotos/gifts?cg=196429175977651419

Strangely, most of yours haven't been migrated. Some have, like this one.

edit: It looks like the ones that haven't changed do not have "greeting card" in the title, which Zazzle adds.

Thanks Augie, maybe I'll just add 'card' after each title and see what happens!

Thanks for the examples. Let us look into this and get back to you guys. Thanks for your patience!

Have they migrated yet?
If so...what did you do to make it happen?

Mine have still not migrated.

The Technical Issues thread I raised to demonstrate some of the implications of this has not been responded to by Zazzle. That thread has now been locked.

Ok, here's the answer that was posted. For the cards that haven't migrated, it's because they don't have a marketplace department selected (and why they don't have the product type at the end of the title). Just edit them and select Invitations and Stationary > Greeting cards > a subcategory if it applies.

You can find your stragglers here:

https://www.zazzle.com/YourStoreName/generics

(replace YourStoreName with your store name Grin )

Thank you augiedoggy - I will try that out on my generics.

Unfortunately though, it doesn't help with all unmigrated cards. I have a bunch of cards that have been in a department for weeks, but are still unmigrated.

Mine are too, but I'm hoping it's an indexing thing and we just have to wait.

BUMP!

Still waiting for cards to be migrated. What can I do to help the process?
Posted: Tuesday, March 19, 2019 4:22:50 PM
I still have a lot of cards that have not migrated. Can Zazzle let us know please if this is still recognised as a known issue. Is it ever likely to be fixed?
