A Graphical Guide to Grouping - AKA "Where are my products?!" 2 pages: 1 [2]

All of this still does not explain why all the categories are not in place. Additionally, I tried to find the beta page so that I could customize the look of my shop, but even though I follow your directions to the page there is no link. Can you send me a link? Many thanks, Brooke

The Beta page no longer exists as customization is no longer allowed.

I've been having a problem where I can see some of my products while logged in but can't see a number of them while logged out. My theory is that they are hidden to non-logged-in people because I marked them "PG-13". Does this sound right? I've changed the rating to "G" but none of them are showing up yet. But Zazzle moves slowly, as I'm sure you all know, so I hope to see them soon when I am logged-out. Does this all sound right to anyone else?

Personally, I think it's a mistake to hide PG-13 items from everyone who isn't logged into Zazzle. Basically, that means that only Zazzle customers can find my PG-13 products. How can non-Zazzle customers login to Zazzle if they can't find the products they want to buy?

Regardless, I thought I'd mention this in this thread because it's where I was looking for answers regarding why an entire line of products with one design on it refused to show up.

Very nice! I only Zazzle figures out a way to show the whole 49 products together. Long run, it's going to be an improvement.

Love the visual about the stock exchange!

I agree. I just came from checking out my rescue store in Opera and found it incredibly irritating that each time I clicked on one of the sidebar dept listings all the others vanished when the one I clicked on appeared. That meant in order to visit my products in one of the other depts I had to use my back option to return to the original page in order to visit the next dept.

Thanks for explaining this!

I think I get the basics, but I do not like it at all.

How can I now see how many products I created? Yesterday I had 205, this morning I have 193. I found some groupings when viewing my store, but I need to point at the icon to see *if* there is a grouping. How are customers supposed to understand this?

I created a kitchen towel that is now totally hidden - not even I can easily find it. Will I need to add every product to a store category in order to see them somewhere? I thought only the obvious categories would be needed, so I placed most objects in the "New product" category.

Phew, I don't even see now how I can keep track on my goal of creating so and so many new designs every week.

There must be some statistics page that I'm missing?

EDIT: And why can't we see each and every design "back stage"? I mean, if I want to look up some product I created, there should be some full view for me, the store keeper.

just went on line and saw that some of my collections are empty? Surely this must be a glitch? I try to learn what the reasons could be by reading a above comments, but I still have no idea why some on the collections I created have no products in them?

Read through the other forums. Yes, it is a glitch. You will see several threads started about collections and products disappearing.

It's been over 48 hours for some of my products and they still are not showing in my store for the public.
I'm getting really frustrated. I'm ready to find a new web site. also when I try to design a blanket for my store it say my image will turn out blurry and won't let me add it to my store. I know it won't because I have ordered them for myself and they look fine.

If you log out of your account and search your products, the "see this design on XX number of products" ONLY shows up when you hover over the image. So if someone sees a product and doesn't really want that product they may not see that the design is on products other than the one they are shown.

If they do hover over an item, the link could be slightly larger so it's easier to see.

I just read a note at the top of my screen on my account when I logged in saying that if products haven't been viewed in 15 months they will be automatically hidden??

Does it count if we as shop owners have viewed our own products? Somehow this doesn't seem fair to hide products that haven't been viewed without our permission...I know 15 months is a long time for items to not be viewed...but i'm still not sure I like this I mean i think we should be in charge of what does and does not appear in our own shops... and just because it hasn't been viewed in a long time doesn't mean it won't be EVER...except now it won't??? its seems kind of frustrating.

I don't make a lot of money on my shop or my art, so I somteimes take other jobs, wich means I can get busy and be away from updating my shop for long periods of time sometimes. BUT i still do make the odd sale here and there... for which I am very grateful for...but if products start dissapearing off my shop just because they haven't been viewed in a long time, then it seems like it would cut way back on my options of making those few sales...i don't know...Sad

Your best bet is to go into the News forum and read the posts by staff and/or to read the newest threads in the forum which have more to do with what is going on than this thread does.

Everyone keeps refer me to the "Zazzle news" forums but every time i go there all I see is a bunch of posts at the top about international sellers and taxs and such... it seemed related to this somehow, and I didn't see anything in Zazzle News that talked about it, maybe I missed it sorry.

So what are we supposed to do if the stacking buttons don't appear? I'm having this happen, but the buttons that your visual guide shows just aren't there for me. And yes, I know about the magical thing that is cntrl+f to make sure I'm not staring right at it. I searched for key words to make sure my tired eyes weren't looking right over it. Nope. Not there.

Some of my products seem to have been grouped (the three dots symbol is there) without me having given any instruction for it. How can I un-group them?
