8 sales made by same person/same item/same time?

Is this a glitch? Anyone else have this happen?
I was so excited to see a sale spike but then saw this:

I posted the same thing last year when someone ordered a bunch of something, but it was legit, and this probably is too. She customized each one, so it's probably gifts for her bridge club or something.

Congrats on the good sale!

I've had two separate times recently when one person ordered a whole bunch of custom mugs one at a a time on the same day. One has already cleared. I figured each mug had a different name on it and so had to be separate orders. Congrats!

I have 8 sales as well
12/5/2017 5:11:57 PM they customized them so they all went at the same time. Most likely a different name on each one.

Ohhhh wonderful! I hope that is the case.

Thanks everyone! *fingers crossed* Grin

When you see separate orders, it's likely to be far more valid than where you see it as a quantity in a single order, the latter case meaning the person might have mistakenly ordered more than one.

Not a tech issue. Moving to Your Zazzle Store.

@Terri - That customer will probably never ever see that image, but you might consider removing it for her privacy.

I had this happen a while back. A very nice woman asked me to do a custom pinback background for her, then she ordered a ton of them, each one customized. She said it was for a family reunion I believe.

I can imagine the name tags going the same way. I've also had invites customized individually so, I am sure it probably does happen more than we would think.

Congrats on the sale! Smile

I had somebody order the exact same design on a pink shirt and on a blue shirt so I guess they were going to be matching his n' hers. Congrats on the sale. This is definately a thing people do.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep this in mind.
(Now that I think of it, that did happen to me not too long ago. Someone made 2 or 3 separate orders but each order had multiple QTY... and he ended up cancelling one.)

I once had someone buy 11 tote bags, each apparently customized separately. I sold multiples of that same design on other products, too, like T-Shirts.

Too bad those days are long gone for me. Looking back through my old sales made me nostalgic for 2016, before the bottom dropped out for me. Oh well.

What happened?
You mean with the economy?

Not really. I can't really point to any one thing and say, "This is what killed my store."

In the end, the cause(s) of its demise don't matter, so much as the question of whether I'm willing to make efforts to attempt its resuscitation, and I've found the answer to be, "no." I'm really only keeping it around to make things for myself, and for friends and family to buy stuff if they want. If strangers buy something or someone else wants to promote my work, that's fine. But trying to make money from it isn't my focus anymore.

My biggest 1 person sale ever was 58 Autism Awareness T-shirts (for $2,228.19) Shocked that was bought by an Autism Awareness group for an event they were having. I made $634.79 in one day! I was floored. I wish that sort of thing happened more often. It totally shocked me because it's unusual I get more then 2 or 3 sales of an items to one person like that. Usually it'll be a family that bought matching mommy/daughter t-shirts or something like that. To have a group get a mass order for their event was something I never expected to see.
