Transfer this design onto another product 3 pages: 1 [2] 3

Flat Holiday Card (FHC) > Foil Card (FC) is putting the FHC front to FC inside top and FHC back to FC inside bottom. Nothing on the front of the Foil Card.

Table Runner to pretty much anything doesn't really work because it makes the design so super small, but to Pillar Candles is a fail - didn't click, but in the module, it appears blank.

While checking some products before posting, I noticed sheets of postage stamps(!) being touted in the "Transfer this Design" crawler for PID #256675449764184404. IMO, Not a good idea to include discontinued products.

Round Acrylic or Ceramic Ornaments to "Banner" Ornaments - not a good look.

Back side of original is trying to transfer to that little bitty "banner" space.

Another thing that I noticed is that Zippo lighters are highlighted as a suggestion. Isn't that going to cause a lot of canceled orders, considering their approval process?

This has been removed now so there shouldn't be an issue. Thanks again for bringing that to our attention!

I would like to see the tags transfer with pictures.

I love the new transfer options. I like seeing the image on items that I would have never thought to create. I imagine that customers might be drawn to something in the bar that they didn't think they wanted also.

Monica's Announcement yesterday about the Relaunching of Custom Postage now explains the presence of postage in the "Transfer this Design" crawl. However, {Sigh}, my designs are religious in nature and, therefore, excluded under the new guidelines.

I would like to suggest that custom postage like Zippo lighters be excluded from such crawls. And, for much the same reason: Considering the post office's and stamp.com's suitability and approval processes, a lot of orders are likely to be canceled resulting in disappointed customers. I think it a pity that, say, St. Stephen's Church won't be able to have a picture of St. Stephen on their mail. But, such are the new rules...

Thanks for bringing this up. Postage and Zippo lighters have been removed from that section.

Loving this new feature on the product page! I've seen an increase in t=transferred sales in the last week as a direct result of this new module. A fabulous addition that I hope is showing increases for all across the board. Thank you, Zazzle! Love Roses Love

I'm wondering about transferring a design from a double-sided product where each side has a different design. It appears that the front side is always the only side that transfers to the new product if your new product only has one side. Is it possible to create a way for customers to choose which side they
transfer?

I know if it was me, I could copy and paste the back design onto the front temporarily until I make the transfer, but I'm pretty sure customers wouldn't think to go that route.

I have disabled the transfer design capability for my designs for now. On all of my designs that had that strip that showed the products that my design could be transferred to, the products from my collection for that design weren't showing. For me, that's not a good thing. I want the customer to see that there are other products in that collection with the same design.

That shouldn’t be happening. I wonder if by any chance you made any changes to the collections in the last 24 hrs before looking at the product pages. That happens every time you make any kind of change to collections and they should show back up. It has even been taking up to 2 days occasionally for my collections to show back under the products if I add a product or rearrange within the collection.

Just food for thought Karen, today I had a sale for 48 folded Christmas cards that had been transferred from a postcard.

I actually already have that design on folded cards and the collection was showing. All they had to do was scroll through it to see that but for whatever reason they chose to transfer the design themselves.

If I'd had the transfer disabled I might not have gotten that sale.

I do understand your position though but I would hate to see you miss out on sales because of it.

Karen, both Melrose and Shelli are right. Take time to reconsider.

OK, you guys have convinced me to turn that feature back on. Maybe I did rearrange some things in a collection and didn't realize it, and maybe that was the issue. I sure wish they would get this collections issue sorted out. I feel like I can't even rearrange anything and a collection anymore for fear that it's not going to show to the public for a couple of days.

I have the same hesitation.

I just noticed on 2 sales for the 22nd it said transfer to 'stamp'. These are photos, I can't imagine anyone transferring them to an ink stamp.

I hit transfer and there was a postage stamp, though saying subject to approval. I'm confused. I thought stamps weren't back yet. (also all my transfers this month excepting these 2 were to items they were already available on)

We can’t create them and post them for sale. Customers, however, can create stamps and purchase them.

Thanks, I didn't really understand how that worked. Guess I'll have to pretend to buy stamps and check it out, though surprised that customers knew more about it than I did. Just hope it doesn't go pink waiting for approval.

Another head scratcher.

I had a 'folded holiday card' transferred to a 'Zazzle card'. Aren't they really the same thing? Also a 'Zazzle Christmas holiday postcard' transferred to a 'Zazzle postcard'. Then I had a transfer to a product I hadn't made, how I assume it's supposed to work. All this was yesterday and I'm really confused, my usual state but even more so now.

I had one of those oddball transfers, in my case being a business card that was transferred to a business card. I'm thinking it happened because the customer had been checking out the various sizes and shapes, then decided to stick with the size I'd designed. However, there seem to be several identical business card templates, the only difference being that they have different names. Maybe that's what happened with your card.

I had the same question a few months ago, because I have design transfer turned off in my store, but my sales report showed a transfer from a folded holiday card to a Zazzle card. As was explained to me, it's not an actual transfer by the customer. Zazzle's internal name for the product changed, which prompted the transfer note to appear in the sales report.

I had another transfer recently of
zazzle_holidaypostcard
Transferred to: zazzle_postcard

Checked my sales just now and thrilled to see that a customer apparently fell in love with one of my car mat designs which she transferred to several products that I didn't design it for! She transferred and customized a plate, two mousepads, a glass tray, a serving tray and 10 stickers! Glad I didn't disable this feature! Laughing

Aloha Everybody...I just saw a sale of a jumbo card in my Royalty History. I was confused when I noticed that the royalty was only for 26 cents, then I saw the little "t" showing that the design had been transferred to another product. How can I tell what product the design was transferred to?

Am I missing something? What product was actually sold?
Posted: Thursday, November 29, 2018 7:34:35 PM
It tells you in your royalty history what it was transferred from and what it was transferred to.
