Sell Button gone again

I think I know when this happens to me.

I was spending a real long time on a design.

When I went from new to old designer tool, I was unable to sell it.

I went and retrieved it from "saved designs" and even made a change or two just to wake it up...but no luck.

https://www.zazzle.com/pd/spp/pt-zazzle_button?dz=302aa086-650c-45e4-9c0b-1900aae92024&side_name=front&style=round_button&size=2.25&design.areas=%5Bround_button_225_front%5D&context=114948436752540819&view=113502158317584649

I don't know if this is true for the other times this has happened to me.

Update: I was back in the new designer tool so tried again. No luck.
I did lots of tests...no joy.
So..I copied all the layers and pasted them into a different product...a circle magnet. It copied/pasted fine...but still no sell button.
Once again I made some random changes...no sell button.

You can't post a product for sale if it contains a Zazzle Icon.

If you remove the icon of the heart with wings you should be all set.

Ohhhh....Ok. I got rid of it. Thank you Scott.

It happened again. I created this in the New tool and it got saved. When I pulled it from the saved designs it was the old tool. No Sell option. Now it is back to the new tool...no sell option.

I clicked that link, added text, clicked done, and had the Sell It button.
Are you still trying to add a Zazzle Icon to the product (as Scott mentioned before)? If so, that is the problem as those are for customer use only.

AnnaRosaEnergyArtist - This product does not have a "sell" option because you found the product in the Zazzle_templates store, and this particular store is meant for customers and not designers. Please use the 'Create Your Own' link at the top of the web page if you're looking for products to customize and then add to your store.

Anna here is a link to Zazzle blanks which is different from Zazzle Templates.

https://www.zazzle.com/zazzleblanks/products

you can bookmark this so you always know where to find blanks for designers.

Shelli and Scott, I am thoroughly confused now. How are Zazzle Blanks different from the Create Your Own products (the link at the top left of the page)? This video for designers tells us to use the CYO products:

Not really a difference. Zazzleblanks was started for us designers, laid out like a store, making products easier to find for creation. Maybe someone else will have a different way to define the two.

BTW - I only work via Zazzleblanks.

Thanks, Gina. It caught me short because I had not heard of Zazzle Blanks before and I cannot find any documentation about it.

The only documentation is here in the forums. A Zazzle MOD posted about it in the forums a very long time ago and others (including myself) have posted about it, and shared the link, many times since then. You can search for Zazzleblanks here in the forums and probably find tons of posts.

Thanks again, Gina. I will do my research here.

I am sorry for the confusion Carolyn I just wanted Anna to have the correct link.

Actually the Create your own page has all the same blanks, it is just two different ways to get to the same place.

Now there is a difference between Zazzle Blanks and Zazzle Templates.

Blanks being for designers and Templates being for customers.

Blanks you can post for sale and Templates are only for buying...

does that make sense now?

Yes, Shelli, it makes sense now. Thanks for your help!
