Quick Create keeps crashing my browers

What a frustrating day.
Both Firefox (latest update) and Internet Explorer crash during Quick Create. Is anyone else having issues with their internet browsers?

Yes, lots of people complaining on FF lately (there's a thread somewhere in the forums). Chromium and Chrome work just fine.

But it's not only Firefox. Internet Explorer does show the exact same problem. So I doubt that it's Firefox's problem...

Have not tried any other browser, yet, but the last few days CC been crashing My Firefox

Combining what has been said in this thread and the other one, it appears that only Chrome isn't crashing, but people don't want to use it because it's so slow.

And Chrome is harvesting more data about you than Facebook.

I've had a strong sense of just that and have stayed away from the browser because of it.

Same here with major browser crashes using Firefox and Internet Explorer. Has slowed me down hugely over this past 24 hours. No quick product creates have succeeded over 5 attempts for us. Sad

Yeah, that's why there is Chromium. And it's somewhat faster, I'd say.

I have been using QC just fine with FF everyday for the last several days ... until now. My first major crash during QC.

As a work-around don't edit your designs in QC. Just leave all your QC designs in their default ugly state and post them as Hidden so these ugly ducklings don't go to market. Tomorrow when they appear you can customize them and repost for sale. Kind of a pain but it at least still saves you the time of adding descriptions, tags, and categories to all those products.

Thank you for this advice, I might actually try it. Better than nothing...
either that or I will try Chromium just for QC. I am starting to get desperate *lol*

Strangely, my template objects are not templates this morning. After my crash last night I went back and did what I described above. I didn't touch any of the designs. I just posted my ugly ducklings as is and Hidden. This morning when they showed up I went to customize and post them all. When doing so I realized my images were not all updating when I changed them. As when you have multiples of the same image, like a pouf of mug, if you change one they all change when template objects. I looked at the images and they all had the "Make this a template object" unchecked. I know I didn't remove the check marks because, as I said, I didn't touch any of them for fear of another crash. I went back and double-checked my templates to make sure they did have their images checked and they looked fine. So QC removed the check marks somehow. Maybe something to do with the crashing?

Edit: Interestingly, my text objects are still template objects. It only seems to have affected the image that was originally added at the start (image0).

I tried Chrome. It tends to get slower and slower as you go through customizing your QC products. When it takes 3 times longer to wait for each click to respond, it's not any faster than just reposting for sale.

Yeah that sucks. At first you think that Chrome is awesome for Zazzle but after two or three batches it's getting slower and slower and slower. The last QC batch with 100 products took me TWO hours!

I have the same issue. It crashes firefox and chrome just freezes up when you try to edit a product.

I did a small batch in Opera yesterday. Worked fine--no crash or slowdow--but it was a small batch. Will try a bigger batch today to see how it goes.

Unfortunately no Lazarus plugin for Opera. Crying

Meh, Opera slows down almost as much as Chrome.

I personally am taking a break from designing new products via quick create. It's just not worth the frustration and there are other fish in the pond that need my time. I really do hope that Zazzle will find and eliminate this nasty bug. Love

Firefox just crashed without warning when I was using QC. I've been using QC in Firefox for years (though not much this year until now), and never had this happen before.

Any news on this issue?

I don't know if it is related but I recently removed a bunch of add-ons (but I still have several can't live without ones), switched from AdBlock Plus to uBlock (disabled on Zazzle), and was able to run several batches in Firefox without crashing the past few days. There are still some issue, but I think they are on Zazzle's end.

Interesting, I will try Chrome again though hoping that it might be a bit faster today. I really NEED to create some new products Crying

It seems that Chrome is a bit quicker today. Well, that's not perfect but at least I can use QC :-)

I can't use FF or Chrome for QC. I hope the issue; whatever it is, will be corrected soon Smile

I mentioned this temporary fix for ff a few weeks ago and it still seems to be working. Open up ff, go up to help at top, select to open with no add ons. This will allow QC use for now. Good luck.
