Please allow an opt out for backgrounds!

I received a mixed review on a product because the customer switched out the background that I offered for the overall template to a gray one that another designer offered. They weren't happy how the background turned out. Zazzle, this is not fair. Why do we have to pay for other backgrounds and then get dinged because of it? It should be noted -- the customer also bought a matching design item and kept the background originally offered and was very happy how that one turned out (I received two separate reviews).

Please allow an opt out.

Having to pay for external content and getting indirectly blamed on top of that is, indeed, a double bummer. The bad review is even worse than the royalty share. +1 for the opt-out, for the sake of our reputation.

Not Justified! A customer purchases a product from a Designers Store, but prefers a different background color, so chooses One from another designers template on the Design Page. Potential Issues > Customer not happy with Color they have chosen! Bad reviews of the product, Re background Color! Who suffers from this and also misses out on royalties , also bad press re reviews!

The case of the original designer getting the shaft twice in this case! I +1 for that opt out.

Hi all. Thank you for this suggestion again, I will pass it onto our team. However, this is being discussed over here so I will be locking the thread and you can continue the conversation there. Thank you Smile
