Canadian customers can order that from the Zazzle.com domain.

Unfortunately, that isn't the case. There are many of these products that Zazzle won't ship to Canada (for whatever reason...ie, customs, duty or trade issues).

I recently opened a Canadian Zazzle store because 99% of the customers I reach out to are Canadian and I wanted the price to be appealing since they are not paying in American which changes it significantly.

So the first thing I missed that they can't buy was the Flowy Racer Back t-shirts. I made one in a Canadian Tartan, but low and behold they can't order it from the store .ca. Yes they can on .com but pay American funds and shipping. I sold a pack of envelopes yesterday and found I can't access my own product from the Canadian store to share the sale! I had to log into .com to do that.

These are only two examples that I found in the one month my new store is up. I also ordered a Christmas ornament for a new baby that never arrived and was refunded. The contact department asked that I re-order on the Canadian site. While I work there on this new store, it is VERY different from .com including the offered discounts.

you're right about the promotions being different on the .com and .ca sites. the only times I can recall that they may be the same is the Black Friday / Cyber Monday / Cyber Week promotions, and the Christmas promotions held 2-3 weeks before Christmas.

that was one of my thoughts, too ... but, I noticed that snowglobes and table lamps/lampshades used to be unavailable through the Canadian domain-- and they are available there now.

it's unfortunate that I can't hide the product categories that are not available on the Canadian domain without affecting their visibility on the US domain at the same time. I'm sure it must frustrate Canadian customers who click on certain product categories on the Canadian domain, only to be taken to a page without any products in it! Crying

One of the reasons that many advise to categorize your store by design/theme instead of by product type.

It might be that some/all of these products are made by outside manufacturers. Often their items are shipped separately and with more limited postal options than products printed/made by Zazzle themselves.

A quick check of 'cake pops' for example, shows that they're made by Veronica's Treats in Massachusetts. Perhaps it's the decision of each individual manufacturer about which markets they sell to.

Unfortunately, not all products available on Zazzle.com are available on Zazzle.ca. Regarding promotions not being the same on the various domains, that's feedback I'd be happy to forward on to our team.
