I just noticed that the hands on the medium size clock are too large and obviously the same hands as used on the large size. I could swear this is a new phenomenon, one that looks awful. If this is an error in the view, it should probably be corrected.

But they are not the same size as the large clock, they are actually bigger. I don't remember such a drastic difference... maybe it's the Mandela Effect, lol. ![]()

You gave me pause with the "mandela effect," but only for half a second because I immediately remembered my reaction when I saw those hands, which was a more explicit version of "What the devil?!"

Hokay! Seniors moment! Someone of a younger age "maybe" not meaning you Jerry has solved this disturbing problem! Re Clock hands are now Bigger on the Small Clock and Smaller on the Large Clock! Need to take this all in, so might need a day off from the forums! to digest this!

Orientcourt, so many of us here on the forums are gray panthers that we and our "moments" absolutely rule.

I'm bumping this because I suspect Zazzle missed it. Those oversize hands on the medium round clock do not look the least good and I'm hoping it's a display error, not the maker's decision.

We've confirmed that the Clock Hands shown on our site match to what is being shipped from the maker

Well, darn it. I guess the maker has decided to have just one size for hands, not two.

I sell a lot of clocks, and all I can say is that I'm likely to see fewer customers downsizing the large clocks I design, which means a higher royalty. (Glass half full.)

You know, looking again at the example Jerry posted, it really does look like the preview photos have the hands mixed up... like somehow the large clock face was supposed to go on the right with the big hands and vice versa.
I know Christine said it is correct but I can't get over how it just looks like somebody put the wrong size clocks in the background for the previews.

I thought the same thing, given that the hands on the large clock look a bit smaller, actually smaller than I could swear they were just a month or two ago. Tomorrow when I'm on my own computer (turned off and am using my husband's), I'll check the template I created for the large clock that I made using a screenshot of it.

Here's the current hand size in the medium clock display: Here's the template I created a couple years ago for the medium clock: ![]() Here's the current large size: The template I created for large clocks: ![]() It's noticeable that the second hand no longer appears, which I assume means the manufacturer has eliminated it, but this also means Zazzle has redone the displays. The hands for the large clock aren't quite the same length, but they're close enough. However, there's an enormous difference in the size of the hands for the medium clock where they're nearly to the edge. They weren't back when I created these templates. Hands should point to, not hide, the numbers. So the question is: Why has the manufacturer opted for oversized hands on the medium clock, or is it actually a display issue?

I don’t know which, but it doesn’t look good and I wouldn’t buy a medium size clock with oversized hands like that.

I wouldn't either. It reminds me of clown shoes.
