But we did. It was done automatically. What we didn't have was something to click on in the dropdown. I've a number of sets created automatically in past months. Didn't you have any?

Srry, I meant way before, before design grouping even existed.

And yes, but very inconsistently. And that's why I'm confused, as to the why it doesn't work for simple things, when you've met the required criteria...checked the DO's and DON'Ts, etc. I'm hopeful they work to make it better is all.

Yes, I hope they make it better too. It's a feature on so many different web sites, and it's something I love using when I'm shopping. "How many different colors does this bedspread come in?" was my most recent experience with it, and it helped me with my decision.

It has not worked for me. Not one of the many I tried to group has worked.

If zazzle sees this, here is an example of two products I tried to group. They are identical except for color.

These two were finally grouped. Perhaps it takes longer? I still have many others in that category that were never groups automatically or after I did the grouping. I guess I'll wait longer and see what happens.

My test set of 4 pens (two originally grouped, 2 not) - sent form to request grouping (nothing), tried the drop-down button feature (nothing), edited the titles to very similar (nothing), drop-down grouping request again with a note explaining the Grouping theory (nothing yet).

However, my most recent test of same design (4 different color schemes have to be individually created) on phone cases.

I created one type (iphone, samsung, pixel, etc.)of case (all otter box) with blue theme. Published it then customized that by replacing the blue shades of items with red, changed to a type of case. Published and customized that with 3rd color scheme and 3rd type of case. Repeated for 4th type of case.

Within a day, 3 of the 4 were grouped.

Here is one of grouped:

and here is the orphan:
