Shouldn't shoes sort into both Men's and Women's categories?

I noticed that shoes are back in stock and went to look at some in my store. But when I sorted by clothing>women>shoes both flip flops and regular high/low tops weren't sorted under women, only men?

Is this an indexing issue? A couple are sorted under women now, but not everything.

Hi MasterpieceCafe,

Since we don't have a unisex department for shoes, we had to choose a default department for ZIPZ and flip flops which, as you can see, is men's shoes. However, you can easily override this during the post for sale process. Just select a marketplace department that is different from the suggested department by clicking on 'Browse all departments' and then choosing 'women's sneakers.' See example below.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Ok, then I guess it's more weird that a couple are actually sorting under both categories?

I guess I will go through and see if some shoes are more appropriately resorted under women. Thanks!

This is a little frustrating because I have them categorizied "for her" and they've ended up in men's.

It seems I have to edit them one by one, which is tedious.

SUGGESTION - offer both men's and women's in the suggested options.
