Can't post Quick Create products 5 pages: [1] 2 3 4 5
Posted: Wednesday, November 12, 2014 2:46:41 AM
Every time I try to post a Quick Create I get the 'We're sorry, there are problems with your information' error message. There's no red type anywhere and I've checked everything and it's all ok. Tried 5 times and have given up! Any ideas? Thanks.

Working again for whatever reason!

I've had this exact problem a few times and again today. There is an error message but no specific error.

This is happening to me, now. I tried last night (I think it was last night,) and after several attempts, gave up. Tonight I tried again, and after it happened again, I even tried it with another browser (Opera.) No luck. Giving up again tonight.

Thinking back, I think the problem turned out last time to be a bad template. A quick attempt at simply customizing individual products off of my newer templates revealed similar behavior for one of those templates, so I deleted and re-made it.
Just FYI for anyone who has this problem in the future.

I constantly have this problem. So much that I just stopped listing for a while. It still happens often and not just with templates. I just made a new batch of items from scratch Three times. All ending with the error, hitting back doesn't work. Editing a product then moving forward does not work. Nothing fixes it so I have to restart only to get through all the customization to have the error happen all over again. It is infuriating to have to go through the customization process three or four times before the system decides to work properly. I'm done listing until this is fixed.

I'm getting this too 'almost' every time I try to list products.

" We're sorry, there are problems with your information.

Don't kick your computer just yet -- we made things easy by marking all
your errors in red. "

Nothing is marked however, and nothing works except restarting the listing, and that only works sometimes. Very frustrating and a huge waste of time.

Me too! Two days in a row and I was planning on listing TONS of items. Seems like a waste of time if I can't get it to work. Can any admin help....please????

I had to walk away for a couple weeks...doing a website while I wait for a fix.

Has anyone experiencing this error NOT customized any of the items during the quick create process?

I've been able to run QC batches if I don't customize. I post the products as hidden, and when they show up, I then tweak the ones that need it, one at a time. Then make them all public.

Yes, it's not as fast, but it at least allows me to get something done.

Often when QC is down/acting up, I make items one at a time by going to the appropriate template folder and customizing each product; this helps me stay organized and not miss items that I want to create.

Yes, this is even slower - but at least I'm making some progress. I've determined that slow is better than nothing at all.

That's what I started doing a few days ago because QC has been so kooky. I now prefer working this way. It so much less stressful than setting aside a chunk of time to get through a QC batch and always being paranoid about my browser crashing or having to walk away or something else going haywire. I push through about 200 items in QC as HIDDEN, then work on them over a few days. When my hidden "stash" gets low, I push through some more hidden batches to work on later. The only problem I've had, is that the main image is losing its "template" status even though I check the box to make the products templates. So I have to remember to recheck the box as I go though fixing them.

This has been happening to me too over the last couple of weeks, with templates I always use with no problems. Very frustrating. Going to try the no customising method and see how it goes.

Thanks for the advise. I will try it without customizing and see what happens. Just fyi - I tried both safari and chrome without luck.

Hmm, I haven't seen that. Will have to keep an eye out for it the next time I'm doing a QC batch that uses template objects for customers to personalize the items.

I haven't been having this problem for a week or so. I find it does happen less often with small batches. Most of mine are 20 products or less.

We are already looking into this, thank you for your patience!

Just a heads up - I ran a "trial run" using an old store and quick create worked (I didn't edit anything) but I did use my normal template.

When I tried it using my current store (and edited a few items) - I got the error message again and cant post.

Can you give us a heads up when the issue is fixed? I can't post anything without using quick create because I'm wanting to start a "series" of items.

Thanks for your help thus far!

But there are no errors on the designer side, it's QC messing up.

I've read multiple times on the forum that this is being worked on, but it's been like this for weeks already. And it's utterly frustrating when you try a QC batch of 100 products, it seems to be alright, and then BAM the next batch goes wrong again. With loads of people relying on QC to publish their products this should have been fixed already. It's not >Sad funny anymore.

I still can't use QC templates if I customize any product,
do you still have this problem?
Posted: Monday, May 11, 2015 12:09:34 PM
I can post Quick Create products....that is the ones that I don't have to adjust the image on. Something is wrong with the template in that you cannot edit the image by moving it around, pulling the little squares in the corners out to enlarge (the little squares aren't there anymore). This is sooooo frustrating! I can see by the messages above mine that this problem has been going on for at least a week. Can someone from Zazzle please fix this?

Oh, I wish I had assumed there was a problem and checked the forum before wasting time trying to quick create products and customize them. I've lost valuable time I can't get backCrying
Posted: Tuesday, May 12, 2015 6:14:12 AM
This is still a problem. Any idea when a fix is coming.

I give up with QC just wasted an hour to have it give me an error msg. when everything is OK. Zazzle what is the problem this has been going on for weeks and it hasn't been fixed yet. >Sad

So far I have been getting on by only working on 10 or 15 products at a time and deleting the others from the template, but yesterday it wouldn't even work with only 5 phone cases. Haven't tried hiding the items yet and working on them 1 at a time, but I think this is my only option for now.

I've had absolutely no probs with quick create. 10 products or 100 products, some adjusted and some not, I've had no errors what so ever. I do have the issue where the little squares normally at the corners of the image aren't there and they are squished in the top left corner of the art view... that's about it. I wonder if there is a specific product that is causing the error?

I wonder when resources will be diverted to fixing this problem. It's been going on for months now. I have a large backlog of images that need the Quick Create tool to post the images on.

Posting images to 150+ products is an extremely inefficient use of time.

As a result I've been focusing my attention on other platforms that offer a tighter niche product line.

I wish Zazzle would fix this, since they are my platform of choice.

+1!

I'm still getting the dreaded "Don't kick your computer yet" failure for QC.
