No changes needed in that section at all.

And yes there is an updated version of pauls zstore helper coming in just a day or two.

Also according to previous post, existing use of specific product types in the plugin version will become fixed once the apply the backwards compatibility. So leave those pages and posts their for now.

If you do not wish to wait on that to kick in, for each page or post that you created that utilizes the "product type" shortcode you will need to go in and physically change to the new name for that product type.

Hope that helps ya out some.

thanks for the reply! I don't understand if I don't need changes to that section, why my products aren't showing... hmmm.

ok, here's an example of a shortcode that I use on a page:
[zstore keywords="baby shower stamps"]

so how would I write that for the products to show?

or will I just need to upload the new plugin when it's ready, and everything should work? I'd rather not go in to edit all those pages if I don't have to.

ok, I just saw your edits... I don't use the shortcodes for the products, since I use the selector on the zstore plugin page to choose the product I want to display... the dropdown menu on that has it listed as "postage".

I guess it sounds like I need to wait for the plugin update to fix my problem?

Either that or make my choice from the dropdown to "show all", and then add the product type to every page. I don't think I want to take the time to do that if there's an option within a couple of days. Unfortunately my site has been blank for a week now, so another day or so won't make much of a difference.

Yes mam, if your using all the core settings menu for your listings, I would just wait for the update. It will be pretty soon.

sorry it wasnt a quicker fix for ya.

I just checked and mine is working as well!! Thanks so much for your hard work Zazzle and also for preventing me from getting more grey hairs dabbling in things I know little about! Laughing Love

The only thing missing for me is the replacement for the Keds shoes....but I guess that's in the works still?

Yes, as some of you have noticed, the backwards compatibility layer has been fixed and your stores should once again be working normally. Yay!

The zstore helper plugin has been updated to include a permenent backwards compatiblility for product types, plus all the newest product typs are now supported.
Both versions, the free and premium.

Anybody got this to work?
I get a fatal error when I try to activate the plugin.

I am using ZSB 1.02 and the free version of the Zstore helper plugin, which was working fine before the feed changes.
I downloaded the new version of the plugin yesterday, but, as I mentioned, when I try and activate it, I get a fatal error.

I personally havent heard anyone else with this error, but there are many variables involved like wp version, other plugins etc... Might want to make sure and leave a comment at pauls site and im sure he will look into it and get back to you as ive always seen him to be very responsive and helpfull.
Usually not an issue to resolve here at zazzle though, since its not their tool.

Even though the rss product type feeds are working once again for everyone, if you are using the zstore helper plugin with your wordpress blog, you DO still need to update your plugin and files.

It appears that the rss feeds have stopped working again.

It appears that any feed that has the pt field in it, is not working now. For example these feeds do not return anything. Removing the "&pt" portion returns products.

Code:
feed://feed.zazzle.com/feed?&isz=328&bg=&src=zstore&pg=1&cg=&ps=8&ft=gb&opensearch=true&qs=gators&pt=zazzle_bumpersticker

feed://feed.zazzle.com/feed?&isz=328&bg=&src=zstore&pg=1&cg=&ps=8&ft=gb&opensearch=true&qs=gators&pt=128

Is the correct format for the non-numerical feed as above? e.g. "pt=zazzle_bumpersticker"?

Thanks
