i have contacted Zazzle's customer service, who won't give me an answer. i am not asking for HTML help, as i am a website designer/builder by profession, and all work i do on my store is pro bono, including donating all profits.

i would just like for my site (www.zazzle.com/FCACshelter) to show the category links under the category images. i cannot figure out how to do this. you can see http://www.zazzle.com/justiceleague for what i mean. that store has the category images with the links under each one.

thanks in advance!

Go to MyAccount -> Store -> Edit Content

On the right of that page is a heading called 'Homepage Content'. Put the tick in the box next to 'Show Categories' and choose either 'Full grid with category names' or 'Scrollable grid with category names'. You can do the same for subcategories by using the options under the heading 'Other Pages'

Hope this helps.

Most likely all they are doing is using a table with images and links under the image. Simple HTML, they aren't using the category icons at all.

Too quick for me Lisa Smile

Well the feature was only introduced about 2 days ago so that's probably why.

I think they're still testing some new features and working out some bugs, so they haven't come out with an 'official' announcement yet. I'm sure they will when they're ready to make it public. For now, we're just stumbling across new options and/or finding out about them in the forum from others who've discovered them.

Up to now, if you wanted the category name on the thumbnail, you had to put it there yourself in design software. Now that we can do it automatically, it might even convince me to add the categories. I was just too lazy to convince myself to come up with new buttons for all of them. xd

As for the Justice League, they're a Zazzle partner and a large name brand company, so they probably do have some options the rest of us wouldn't. And Mainlymainephotos is probably right - they likely have their own customizations done rather than using the standard Zazzle tools. There is an Advanced Store Customization forum for people who want to play with the advanced features - but they're wayyyyyyyyy beyond me. I'm happy to just keep things simple. Smile
