Does the ZSB feed use the same "popular" algorithm as the stores do?

It doesn't quite seem to be pulling the most popular products. Does anyone know if Zazzle uses more than one algorithm - one for the feed and one for stores?

I've been wondering the same thing, and I get a distinct impression that Speck cases seem to be getting some sort of a push at the moment - I actually stopped making them recently, then all of a sudden they started to get more views than the Case Mates.
But to get back to your original question, my pages using the RSS feeds bear no relation to those in my store - I've got a Steampunk ZSB where my best selling design is pushed way back by stuff which doesn't get many views and has only resulted in a couple of sales.

The feed still has problems - the thread here http://forum.zazzle.com/tools/is_there_a_problem_with_the_rss_feed refers. It's only returning results for a product type if a store is part of the query; empty results when it tries to pull all of a specific product type in the marketplace

Thanks, guys.

Yes, DigitalDreambuilder. I had a feed working real early this morning with a Casemates product type and ipod keyword. Now it won't pull that keyword! I figured they were messing around with something.

Steve, I was afraid of that.

I wonder if there's any way to make them congruent?

They match now - they're both wrong!
View all products in my sc0001 store and my most popular steampunk design on an iPhone 4 'Tough' case also shows as my most popular product overall, search 'steampunk' and it's 58th in the list.

Hmmm. . . a good news, bad news story, Steve. Thanks for the update!

It's now dropped to 141 in the search while still holding first place in all products view!...Hilarious!
