Can you actually eat off these or are they "just for show"? I'd like to divide them up into sections with a huge section labeled "MEAT" and a large section labled "POTATOES" and a miniscule area labeled "VEGETABLES".

Also from some research, these types of plates were used in the 50's and 60's but later faded out due to staining and scratching.
I would use them for a decor purpose like the Italian Chefs.
Chef decor is hard to come by cheap. My wife and I done our kitchen in a cafe style red color with shelves full of Chef stuff. Everytime we see a chef we run to buy it. So having a Chef plate whould be for decor purpose for us also at that price, I wouldn't want to scratch them. But it's up to the people what they would used them for.

I forgot to mention that when I clicked on "plates" in my products category, nothing showed up.
I had to scroll to newest items to see the two plates I'd done...
