mistlebee said, Quote:If you are talking about the rack cards, I think gift certificate templates would be a great idea.
A lot of times small businesses are asked if they have gift certificates, but they really don't sell that many, except during the holiday season or for birthdays. With templates they could order a small number for each type of occasion when they get the most requests and not be stuck with a thousand extra copies or whatever the minimum would be from a professional printing service which prefers to handle bulk orders. I've been making gift certificate templates on rack cards for some time. I'm working on a special Earth Day series on wildflowers. Made bookmarks on rack cards with all the info on flowers on back. Worked great!

I didn't realize the chubby cards were the same size as trading cards. I used to make ATCs. ATCs are Artist's Trading Cards. The unofficial rules for ATC's are; must be the size of a trading card, must be flat enough to fit in a trading card holder, cannot be sold-only traded. The cards are like little scrapbook pages. A lot of people who scrapbook also use them in their page designs for scrapbooks, called "tags". I am sure how popular ATCs are now in the craft/art world, but I have a shoe box size container full of cards that I have recieved from other artists in exchange for my ATC designs. Even though the unofficial rule is the cards are not to be sold, I have seen them on ebay listed as miniature works of art. This post is filling me with ideas for some miniature works of art, BKA "Artist's Trading Cards" or scrapbook tags. Thanks randysgrandma http://zazzle.com/randysgrandma

Here's my twist on the regular cards. It's still a partial business card, but on the reverse side I turned it into a mini resume. Somewhere you can list all your skills, knowledge and experience. Why not hand out your business card and resume at the same time http://www.zazzle.com/resume_style_multi_business_card-240364043095513672

I made a customizable rack card/bookmark combination that can be used as a give away to customers in appreciation for their business. On the back of the card there's room to add a business profile along with a "Thank You". I'm so glad I found this thread. It provides some great ideas. I need them!

I've designed a Bucket List kit. There's a binder for recording the actual results and then there are these cards -- in sets of 100, which is perfect -- so people can make individual cards for each item on their bucket list. They can choose an item at random or go through the list in order, as they choose. Each card is its own milestone. But I'm still trying to figure out the best way to market this.

* flash cards (Bible verses, famous quotes...etc.)
* Little black card ("here's my number, call me!")
* It'd be cool if we could make these into magnets to give away as our biz card...(for folks to put on their fridge) I've seen that done with a business card at this cute illustration based clothing boutique in Australia! I thought it was such a good idea, and it definitely made me remember them!

There's lots more in the Inspirations Collection at my Gallery. I'm busily adding postcards, greeting cards and stamps to match them all. (*whew!*) Fine art!
