Great ! I checked out your shop but I could not find any cake photo !
Are you fed up with cakes ? As a child I was dreaming about working in a cake shop -and as a student I got a summer job with other girls -we had to pit sour cherries ,cut huge chocolate bars -it was very enjoyable two weeks ...

I don't take too many pictures at work (though I should for my portfolio). I have a big party coming up that has about 1000 mini hot pink and silver cupcakes I'll try to sneak a picture of though LOL Last week I made a huge batch (60 cupcakes) of homemade "hostess" style chocolate cupcakes (linking cuz imageshack is flaky lately) http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/4238/homemadehostess.jpgsome fancy schmancy Kahlua and dark chocolate mousse http://img19.imageshack.us/f/mousseb.jpg/an in-progress shot of an "oh, we forgot to tell you about this project until 3 days before it's due" gingerbread house for a charity auction I did last year http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3936/46611295516291713420.jpg (I LOVE fondant work!!! it's like edible clay!) and a black forest cake a little while back (I did manage to take some nice photos of the cherries I used - they're in my photo - food section!) http://img703.imageshack.us/f/bfcake.jpg/ I think I pitted 5 pounds of fresh cherries that day - with a #2 cake decorating tip... LOL

Well I often find photographing or even painting nice cakes and putting them on Zazzle products is a good idea, because not only does one get to eat the nice cake one can also make a profit selling pictures of it. Isn't that called having one's cake and eating it

I forgot my camera today ;/ But I was making roulades (rolled cakes like jelly-rolls). I made one with pumpkin cake and cream cheese filling and one with a coconut sponge cake with almond-coconut praline filling. I'll try to remember to bring a camera tomorrow

Wow ! My cakes are not so decorative - so I rather take photos of cakes I saw at parties ,cafes. Thank you for sharing your photos and I hope you will also do so in the future . Here is a white forest cake . I ordered it in a cafe then took photo of it then isolated it then put it into solid background .
