1ST ANNUAL ZAZZLE BIG SUMMER SALE: Okay. Here is how it would go. Any shop owner has the right to opt-in or opt-out of the BIG SUMMER SALE.

Since summers tend to be slow seasons for all businesses, why not a mall-wide sale. And when I say sale, I mean SALE.

Each week, those merchants wishing to participate will choose one product in which, lets say he/she will let a thousand
or 10 thousand or however many we agree upon of the same product go that week.

Every merchant who participates does the same thing with one product.

This will gather a great many wholesale buyers who resale on places like ebay etc.

The trick is, rather than marking up a huge amount, we only
mark them up a dollar or so per product (must be a product like a tee or something that generally has a much higher markup). So, if one sells a thousand of them, there's $1000.

Not to mention all the publicity and SEO enhancement Zazzle would get from it. In fact, I am going to post this in
their suggestion thread too to see if we can drum up some
kind of coordinated effort in which they help promote the idea, we do the selling.

Any ideas or feedback appreciated.

if only 5 or so merchants participated, bet we could pull it off, even if zazzle opts out....not sure exactly which direction to take at the moment but this looks like a good place to brainstorm? any thoughts on how to launch, promote, decide, etc?

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'd do it.
