yah!
BTW - on a semi-related note.... I'm not sure that the new "Hot Items" feature is good.
It seems to me that people aren't commenting and being supportive as much as they used to because they don't want to push other people's products to the top of that list.
Anyone else think things have changed in that regard lately?

I think it might have something to do with it. Its really different to go from lots of comments to checking and there is nothing there. There has to be a reason right?

Well, I think a good way (and easy) to increase traffic is to add your gallery URL to your email signature, for starters. I also use Vistaprint to create promo materials (biz cards, magnetic calendars, small magnets, postcards, etc), and they all have my gallery URL on them - in addition to my ebay gallery.
Hope that helps!

I have a page on Myspace and have filled it with images from my gallery (all with links) plus I have put two flash panels on it too (one from both galleries). That does seem to send a lot more traffic over to me. If anyone is interested to have a look to see what I have doen the URL to my page is:- http://www.myspace.com/99234345I'd be interested to hear what you think.

OK. I know that blogs are a good idea.... It's just that the thought of having to maintain yet another web page is daunting. Besides, I'm not a real "People Person". I'd rather be doing art than trying to think of something to say.
I've seen blogs that haven't been updated in months and it makes me think, why do they bother?

yeah - I'm not a blogger. Don't go to them, don't want one. I have other websites, and I have flash panels on them, but I don't think I get much traffic from them. But that's just me.
Justin - don't you have to keep updating at MySpace? I've never really looked into it, but when I come across one of their sites it seems to me a lot of keeping up.

there isn't that much up keep to a myspace page. I haven't used mine since last year and I still get some refferal sales from it. You should also try posting products that are "hot topics" in the news, then post to forums about those topics. Don't be a spammer tho, nobody likes those people.

You can create squidoo lenses. I know a few people are already using this service. It’s free and you can contribute to charity at the same time. Squidoo lenses are easy to build and require very little maintenance. Unfortunately Squidoo does not have an easy way to get your Zazzle panel onto your page, but you can get your entire page to show up. See http://www.squidoo.com/art-and-gifts. I’m thinking of creating a lens for each of my product pages so I can get some deep links from Goggle. Maybe if more of us use it, we can get them to give us a way to add our flash panels. Myspace takes a little bit of setting up in the first place, you know the sort of thing, getting it to look how you want it etc (same like the galleries here at Zazzle) but once that's done you can leave it for years and it'll be fine. Mine is a work in progress...I am forever tweaking it here and there, changing the panels and various pictures etc. I use mine a lot though as I have many friends using it too as well as a few bands that I stay in contact with.

As for blogs, they are definitely a good way to advertise if you have one. But that brings it's own set of issues: A) What to write about B) Have an audience who cares about A C) Worry about advertising your blog I keep a blog ( Life in the Valley) and advertise some of my creations, as well as my wife's gallery. For non-bloggers, the suggestion of linking in your email signature is a good one. Also, if you frequent any other forums, make sure your links show up there too. Business cards are cool too (yes, even though we don't currently make them at Zazzle) Oh, almost forgot to add my signature: Ed Caggiani My Zazzle GalleryMy Blog - Life in the ValleyMy wife's Zazzle galleryMy SL Dogs Zazzle gallery

KRW If you're finding a myspace difficult or awkward just let me know what you need help on and I'll try to help As for business cards such as ecaggiani mentioned you can get 250 free from a link on my Art site .. great quality all you pay for is the delivery and I've used them loads of times no problem .. I currently have 5 websites running .. including two dedicated business ones and they really do help get traffic to your zazzle accounts .. also put your blog sites on search engines .. like Technorati they send pings out and so keep the search engines up to date on any new blog you do .. heres mine ( You have to sign in and ping your zazzle sites yourself because I don't think they send out pings each time you update .. but its not that difficult to do ) Because I don't have much time or money .. I like to find easy to use quick set up free websites .. I recommend wordpress and freewebs
