To combat referral fraud and improve the consistency of referrals on Zazzle, on March 15 all API links will require your associate id to be passed as a URL parameter. We are notifying you now so you have plenty of time to update your links. If you use the
Create-a-Product API or the Templates Buffet API, your links must be updated in order to continue receiving referrals.
If you do not use the Zazzle API, you do not need to do anything and you may ignore this message.
If you have used
Zazzle's API link generator to create your API links after Jan. 1, 2009, your links already include the necessary parameter and you can ignore this message. If you generated your links prior to Jan. 1, please keep reading.
The parameter that needs to be added to your API links is "rf=ASSOCIATEID", where ASSOCIATEID is your associate id. Example: rf=238328456366539674.
