This is the uplifting article I was looking for. Great insight, motivational, and it gave me the perspective that I was looking for. Now I have a clearer view of where I stand. Compared to how many products I have, I'm just a beginner. Not getting any sells yet ( I do by my own) and not getting many visits. But I will continue to zazzle and promote.

Hey Customizables. Was wondering if I could use your top 10 mistakes list on a squidoo lens I'm working on.

I think your suggestion about avoiding quick create is a good one. When I am shopping for products it is more frustrating than enticing to have to scroll through numerous screens of the exact same design, shown on every single product -- and some times without any adjustment to make the design or photo fit properly onto the space.

That is some great advice. If anyone has time, I would appreciate a review of some of the items and artwork I have posted so far. I am working right now on developing more content for my store, but in the meantime stop by for a visit. My store is http://www.zazzle.com/marcscreationsThanks Marc Ottawa, Canada

These are amazingly useful =D What concerns me (well, one of the things) is the 'Painful color schemes'. I absolutely love bright colors. My drawings are all about them. And I also used bright colors in my store layout. But how to know when bright is too bright?

If you have an afterimage on your retinas after just glancing at your screen, it's too bright. xD I looked at your shop, and it's not too bright at all, but if you're ever in doubt, always ask for an outside opinion. Most of us here on the forums will be more than happy to help you decide if your color scheme is customer-friendly. :3
