getting designs to center properly. When I use the templates zazzle provides, sometimes (usually) the design fits, but often it needs a nudge one way or another. In the past I would nudge it, and put it up for sale, but those nudges do not hold do they ? If they do not I have a whole lot of work to do in straightening many images, and this will mean uploading images until they match perfectly. And of course a whole lot of uploading to do until the design fits with no further problems. If I am wrong then if the customer attempts to purchase they will either correct it, or simply not bother to purchase it.
any help with this issue is so appreciated,I hoped the nudges would hold, but do they ?
Thanks much peter222999

I noticed things shifted slightly and looked different after they'd been ordered... or is it my imagination. Guess I'm wondering the same thing you are. Hope someone knows the definitive answer.

Well i think the answer is going to be a bad one, but I sure hope not. I have sold Items that are not the same as when I nudged them into place. If the Customer purchases one, they may cancel it if its not straight, unless of course they customize it them selves.
Even then not many customers will understand how to do this, since they have to click on the image to allow them to do so. Or they simply do not purchase. Anyhow I hope like heck I am wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Peter222999

I've not found that items need a nudge, they seem to land in the center, sometimes I enlarge images a little to be sure to cover the bleedlines (making sure important parts, like text, are still in the safe area. And that there are no warning triangles) Are you using the design view or product view when designing? If, as an intentional part of a design, I move an element towards an edge it does tend to stay there. "I have sold Items that are not the same as when I nudged them into place." What type of product was it? Could it be customer options that changed it?

A simple answer was given to me from a great Zazzler, When you want to make sure the design comes out straight use the Design tab to center it , not the customization tab Ie the Nudge and zoom. They are correct, as far as I can see. Apparently the design view is what will actually be printed. And when you adjust in the design view, you can move the design to center it, or expand or shrink it
